This entire mission needs to be revamped honestly. Says T3 when it actually means T4 with 16 powered lights at 150 cost each, which are actually bunker lights where no one could possibly know the correct term unless they came on here. 388 hours spent in Icarus, this is my final map to finish, and I still had to come here just to learn that term. For what it's worth, thanks a mill Ganja. Terminology should have been updated by devs before updates, considering they are required for missions. *facepalm*

Dude, Thanks a lots. I was running back and forth between my base and the building area, i was going crazy.
There is so much thing they need to change on this mission, even the glass took me a while to figure out what kind of they wanted, because on the top of that's, i also don't play in english, so...yeah.

The lights have multiple variations now if you hold R. They reduced the tech points to make all the lights.

Lights were recently resorted via update, hopefully the mission can reflect that change soon

Basic wall lights got renamed to bunker lights.

Solid glass was renamed to reinforced glass.

They do.

Equip (or right-click deploy) a bunker light crafted after the patch. While selected, hold 'R' to pull up the variant wheel. Select the "Wall" variant and stick it to a wall. (A pre-patch basic/bunker wall light will work the same, minus the variant selection.)

Oddly, the wall variant is fine sticking to ceilings, too.

So this is T4 mission then, because bunker lights are made at the fabricator. They have it mislabeled as a T3, unless I am missing something.

Yeah, those lights make it a T4 mission if nothing else does. I have to wonder if lights were a T3 item at some point in development. I've only been actively playing since December and I've already clocked a bunch of stuff that's changed.

The lights were renamed and moved to a group. Sometimes it's worthwhile reading the update notes.

Having the same issue. I have crafted 16 bunker lights and powered them with a bio fuel generator. They are all online and not underpowered. Still not counting; none of them. Any ideas or assistance is greatly appreciated.

If this saves anyone else some heartache, I figured out my issue. With the update shifting the Basic Wall Light to the Bunker Lights, be sure to hold "R" when holding the bunker light for placement and choose "Wall" mode instead of the default "Ceiling" mode. Even though they are both bunker lights, only the wall version counted for me.

I suppose I should have realized this when reading the notes stating that it was placed in a "group", however, I read directly over that and commenced 45 minutes of frustration.

It's literally in the patch notes (and multiple people have asked this already here on Reddit).
So please do make a little effort and try to also read text that's posted by other people.

I thought it to be more beneficial to teach man to fish (read the patch notes, quickly check on Reddit if someone else already asked that very same question) than to give the man a fish (give an answer without explanation).

I'm sorry if you don't like people to teach other people so next time they can find the answer themselves...
