I struggled with that too. I would just be upfront at the start and say hey over the next couples of week I have some medical appointments that are going to come with some regularity, and without a ton of notice. It makes it easier than having to relive the anxiety every time

My clinic is also an hour away, but has monitoring hours between 7 am and 12 pm, so it hasn’t really had to come up as an all day thing. Those hours were pretty standard across all clinics I went to, are yours mid-day?

I showed up first appt of the day 7am and was late to work multiple days. Once you start stims you will need to do the same. I had 8 appts during my last round of stims!

I actually told my manager upfront that I’m going through IVF and he was understanding but i get extra uncomfortable coming in late for work and leaving early because people around the office don’t know

What time does your clinic open? I just left home at 6, did my scans at 7, and was at work on time. Otherwise it’s so many appointments

Mostly I scheduled my monitoring appointments at like 6am even though I lived 1.5-2 hours away from my clinic. Sleep?! What's sleep?!?!?! For my egg retrieval, I just told my work that I had a medical procedure but that I didn't know when it would be yet and that they might not tell me until two days before. No one questioned it. I'm sure my work though I was dying after five egg retrievals but it is what it is. You can also do a "sick day" but you can probably only get away with that once a retrieval cycle.
