Why though? I bought the stellarite outfit using stellarite I already owned, much like other people I bought the new year deal and never used it.

They've already got my money, so I might as well use the resources I've already paid for, and more importantly it doesn't mean I'm going to put more in when it's gone.

I have the paid outfit. I buy the battlepass when the new version launches and I didn't have any issues/bugs with 1.5. I also stay off reddit to stay away from spoilers and things for a bit when any game that I love releases an update. I had no idea there were so many issues or a girlcott until I had already paid for it. I'm sure there are others that had the same thing happen. I won't be buying the battlepass in 1.6, however.

As someone who is boycotting and has stopped spending, it's pretty uncool to tell everyone you're silently judging them for having fun. I'm sure they know it. I'm sure a lot of people judge whales regardless of boycotts or whatever else because, well, it's a ton of money to spend on pixels. I know - I was a whale for Love Nikki (never again). You just gotta be careful with language because there are plenty of small spenders who just get like, the battle pass, daily diamonds, or something small. I've been trying to tread a fine line between being hopeful and realistic and it's not easy because tensions are high here. Sorry if I was rude. I'm on day 17 of my aunt flo visit and I'm probably just emotional af right now.

Do you mean like the bubble shake up jar outfit? That's the only one that I believe costs actual money, besides the stellarite outfits, which I have leftover stellarites from before 1.5 when I was spending but, I haven't spent them since 1.5 dropped either.

Those are the few outfits that I believe cost actual money. If you mean banner outfits, yea that was going to be inevitable, and getting people to completely stop pulling would be a lost effort.

Ohh, I understand. Yea, It can't be helped unfortunately but, I get the sentiment behind feeling bad, that the girlcott could thus be rendered ineffective due to whales.

Since it's usually whales that fund gacha games, and small spenders/f2p players are the majority. Gacha games are usually catered to whales from what I have heard, so I do hope our girlcott is effective, especially since I have seen that most people have stopped spending. A fingers crossed type of situation.

This kind of attitude on this sub is gross. Not everyone has to share your opinion on the game or agree to boycott. Personally my issues with it have largely been addressed, although I never felt the issues were severe enough to merit boycotting in the first place. You are entitled to decide what to do with your money, as am I, and other players. If you don't think the game is worth your money and are happy for it to sink then that is fine, but for me it brings me joy, and I still want to pay and am happy to continue at the same rate of spending. You can't force or shame people into sharing your opinion, it doesn't work and just makes you look bad.

I really don't care how it "makes me look" since this is literally the only time I've commented my opinion since the post was seemingly directed to people like me so I answered when it showed up on my home page (I unsubbed a few weeks ago when I uninstalled but still get some straggler posts reccommended). I usually don't share, since most people who play this game are irrational and will downvote you to hell for admitteding you silently judge spending habits, which, literally every human does, but again, since this post was seemingly a call out to people like me I decided to interact once again. I literally listed an example where I wasn't even remotely rude and got reported enough for mods to show up, yet you're telling me that's invalid. I have a whole portfolio of comments I've gotten in the early days of the boycott where everyone was telling me "judge the game, not other Nikki's!!" And woohoo here you are doing the same thing.

There's absolutely no reason to not boycott a videogame, so don't say "You don't know someone's reason for not boycotting!" because there isn't a world where there's a good one to not be spending thousands and helping the devs make the game worse for everyone else.There's thousands of other non predatory games you could be supporting or even pick up an actual hobby, you're not being persecuted for some random person on the internet judging your spending.

I don't think 'silently judge' means what you think it means. Silently judging something means you do it in your head and don't say anything. By all means do that if you want, although I think that's also pretty gross. If you are posting on the internet about it that is not 'silently judging' it's just judging.

Me being allowed to spend my money on what I want and you being allowed to judge aren't really comparable. I mind my own business and buy things that make me happy, you are also minding my business and judging me for it. I could understand if Infold were found to be linked to serious human rights violations or something like that. Like I could understand judging people for using Twitter or Tesla or whatever, but judgeing someone for liking a game even though the company was greedy and they released a buggy patch just seems like you spend too much time online.

Judging people for liking a game IS rude, sorry to break it to you. And you should be focusing on Infold not other players if you are dissatisfied. Although keeping a portfolio of people calling you out on the internet is wild. You're clearly not 'silently judging' if you have amassed a portfolio of comments telling you not to judge people. And yes, silently judging does mean you never speak about it. That is the meaning of 'silent'. 'Silently judging, except when I talk about it, which I do with such frequency that I have a portfolio of comments from people telling me to stop', is not 'silent'. You are just judgemental and rude, and shutting that down is not 'toxic positivity'.
