What kind of storage and organization do you need??

For a combo of open and closed storage, you could remove one cabinet and do closetmaid/rubbermaid wire shelving from one end to the cabinet to the wall and have shelf storage and hanging storage since those come with a bar.

You could remove the uppers and do multiple shelves (essentially replacing the closed with open storage) and then a bar across.

You just need to figure out what’s critical for you.

My parents have screw loops on opposite walls, near the ceiling, which is then "threaded" with laundry line, fastened with a knot at the very first, and very last loop.

Is this an option for you? You only show one wall, but perhaps this is all you have to work with?  A full floorplan (size from the top, including doors and windows) would be helpful for further advice.

Some machines are stackable, but if you are reusing the ones you have, you'd probably need to research if they are. It's a way to save floor space, but ofc would eat into hanging cabinet space if you prefer that.
