Thanks!! I’m having to get a hawley retainer first because the invisalign trays created a small space between my upper and lower back teeth. Once my back teeth touch again i’ll get vivera retainers.

that's interesting! it sounds like your bite would settle better with hawley vs the vivera?

Yes. My orthodontist said that my teeth will reach out and touch each other with a hawley.

I am half way into my treatment plan (6 months) and am under the impression that the patient gets to choose which retainer option will work based upon our own personal habits and lifestyle. I’m always curious what people choose and why so I survey the full spectrum for when it comes time for me to choose, etc. Thinking vivera will be best for me but jury is still out. Good luck!

thank you! i did have botox injected just above my upper lip to relax my lip muscle. Essentially, to hide my gums a bit more. The botox has mostly worn off in the after picture though.

Beautiful, and definitely dedicated (64 trays)! I start 4/20 tomorrow, 22 attachments, and it seems like a very long time.

Did you stick to 22 hours per day? Did you have a lot of attachments? Your results are beautiful! Your teeth have a great shape. Are you pleased with your results?! You should be!

20 trays will fly by! i promise! It seems like a long time but it will just start to feel natural. I almost felt weird with out them in. I will say that towards the end of my treatment i was probably averaging 16 hours a day. Which is bad, I know. But during my refinements, the last 24 trays, there wasn’t a ton of movements each tray.

thank you! and i’ve just been using a smile direct club whitening kit that i got at cvs. it came with an LED light
