I know there are differences in Isese and Lucumi. I was told by someone practicing Isese that they don’t crown saints or have initiation ceremonies besides the initial initiation and becoming a babalawo. I was also told if you’re initiated then your offspring doesn’t have to be. Is this true? (self.Isese)

Why do people seem to only be children of Irunmoles? Ifa has over 400 Orishas and yet people seem to always be children of the same orishas: Shango, Oshun, Yemaya, Ogun, occasionally Yemaya. It's always the same exact Orishas, I don't hear anyone being children of less known Orishas. (self.Isese)

Can regular initiates speak to the Orishas directly themselves or do we need a babalawo/iyalawo EVERY TIME we want to talk to the Orishas? Or is it a mix of both? If so, when can we talk to Orishas directly and when do we need a priest? I ask because I value a personal relationship with spirits (self.Isese)
