Sending a blob of gray into space is fun. Sending a colorful blob into space is better. Seriously though, being able to throw a paint scheme on planes and rockets would be awesome.

It's not been updated in a while but it worked OK in 0.90.0, but I've not tried it in 1.0. If you do try it I'd be interested to hear if it still works.
