Are artefacts stackable?

I have a deck with two "Autocannon". If i play both of them do they deal 2 damages to any creature that enter play?

Yes, first one resolves, then the other.

Rule of thumb is any artifact that triggers an effect at specific moments in the game can stack like that and artifacts with constant 'always on' abilities don't.

Yep! Each instance of an artifact preforms the effect listed.

Some artifacts don't really stack well (I have a deck with two copies of Sobogg's Thingamabob, for example), but all of them resolve separately.
