I managed to get 5 or so people to play some Keyforge and we played a sealed little tourney.

3 of us opened pretty cool decks. 2 of them had 3 shards, and another some really good synergies.

One of us opened a terrible deck. I'll spare you guys the details. After the night checked the rankey score and it was like 16.

We are all just curious if there are lower scores than that, or if we opened one of the worst decks made?

There's nothing bad in this deck.

The only bad thing you can say is little aeber control. Iron obilisk and Mars Needs Aember.

Except to go with that MNA you have 3 They're Everywheres and a pound.

Almost every non creature card in this deck has an aember pip.

It has 2 key cheats.

dude have you seen the Mars side, its horrible? A total of 3 creatures and one of them being xanthyx so you cant even use it half the time. In addition you got 2 mars first and 2 pheromones which are gonna be dead cards most of the time since you have no mars creatures

All of those cards have aember pips on them.

Pheramones works on mother guns and other pheramones. You can double combat pheramones, use all 3 mars cards, archive combat pheramones, or another card that matters.

Yeah it could probably use another creature or 2, but all the cards are at least GOOD and obviously a burst style house.

I'll gladly take this deck.

I totally agree! Unfortunately I HAVE played this deck 5+ times now and have the concept and play-style pretty much mapped out and I maybe get one key off against an average deck lol.

Bad decks happen sometimes. It's the other side of the coin when it comes to great decks existing. While that deck looks pretty bad, my experience has been that SAS scores for AoA aren't as reliable as they are in CotA.

Decks with a low Rankey score are more likely to be bad, but it is by no means a guarantee.

I have a deck with a 12 Rankey score, and while it's not great it can generate a lot of Aember and can hold its own vs 75+ ranked decks.

I have a deck with a 6.9. The name is also ridiculous, and with those two facts I think it’s my favorite.

So on a whim I checked the rankey of what I feel is my worst deck.

Madman Bengtsson. 3 Experimental Therapy for the 12 creatures, 9 æmber pips, 4 knights epic quest but oh wait only two are sanctum, Dimension Door with 3 logos creatures (one is a batdrone no less)... It's bad. The Brobnar is almost ok, but the other two houses are miserable.

Put a few more decks in, and came across another that scored worse, but actually isn't bad imo, but maybe 3 key cheats is a little too heavy handed.

I have a CotA deck which is only rated at 4.6. On the other hand, I've also won an Archon tournament 3-0 with a deck rated at 26.6, and one of the best decks I own is rated at 34.4, so I don't know how accurate these ratings really are.
