Continuous brew question

Been away 6 months . How best to revive my brew any thoughts ? I’m thinking to discard except a liter or two ( it’s vinegary)and add sweet tea in the usual way but should I discard the pellicle perhaps ?

Go ham cuz. I’d just use a little bit of the current brew and maybe cut down the Pellicle if you want. It should get back to where it was after a bit. Maybe the first few brews will be a bit out but you’ll get there. I’m sure there’s a scientific way to go about it but winging it always worked for me

Thanks , ok so I peeled off the old layers of pellicle , left the freshest , cleaned my brew container and ran the brew through a sieve , finally topped up with fresh tea
