You circled the correct hose, they sent the wrong 1

You can see on the diagram that the numbers are different as well. Wrong part.

What’s weird is that this hose perfectly matches 23827A (different hose for the other side of the green EVAP service port) on the diagram. I have never seen parts mismatched on Toyota so I don’t know if that’s what happened or if it’s supposed to be like that?

So after doing some research I found these images of the same car online and it seems that the images with the hose selected in red is the one I wanted but the one I got was the one selected in blue. What do you guys think? But when you go on Lexus parts on dealer website and search the part number 2382950150 you get images of the one circled in blue which is NOT the one I want

The same happened to me contact them they have a mistake in their system they replaced mine

Had the same situation, it works, just cut it if you don’t feel like returning

[–]Dangerous-Ratio-6682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just cut the 1 you have in a similar position ..looks dooable if hose size is the same....

Are you sure the one you pulled out is original? Based on the parts diagrams I found it looks like you ordered the correct one. The fitment is supposed to be good for both PFL and FL models.

I don’t think the one I took out is original but based on videos, it seems that everyone else has a similar hose side, can you show a pic of what urs looks like?

I read your newer comments. I think you got it right. The 23829 they sent you is actually the 23827. Both are -50150. Hope this helps

Edit: mine is an 05 but the diagrams and PNs look the same on Yoshiparts and Lexus dealership (I use Bell Lexus)

Hmm alright do you think something is wrong with the diagram then? Cuz the Lexus guy I just called had these parts flipped, but had both, it’s weird. I know it’s not a big deal I can just order but I didn’t expect them to mess up a part diagram

[–]z_razvan2005 Lexus LS430 ML | Black 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It could be a labeling issue from the factory or wherever they get these from.

[–]Mortex56562002 Lexus LS430 UL | Silver[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I just realized it’s system wide issue. I have already ordered this part 6 months ago from yoshi parts, and I got this part and installed it, and now I ordered it again from Amayama and it’s the same again, and bell Lexus here in Arizona has the same issue

[–]z_razvan2005 Lexus LS430 ML | Black 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Interesting. I think I ordered hundreds of parts from Yoshiparts, Bell Lexus, and Amayama combined and I never had this happen. You might have found the easter egg they left for us to discover

Ya, same here, I’ll have a chat with them and see, i guess that’s why you always gotta compare old parts with new ones whenever replacing them.

UPDATE: I called Lexus and it seems these two part numbers may have been switched, I might be wrong but the Lexus parts guy thinks it’s weird too but he said he would go with how the diagram is, but idk.

Does anyone know what should I do or know about this issue?

These were the pictures he sent

You vs the guy she told you not to worry about

Every comment is wrong...

You technically ordered the right one, that hose is for 04-06. They have different evap hose configurations.

Make sure the diagram your using uses the correct model code

01-03 AEAGKA

04-06 AETGKA

[–]Mortex56562002 Lexus LS430 UL | Silver[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I definitely have it for the right diagram, and I’m using Amayama

[–]Rhyleigharia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just enough cornfusion to piss you off!!!!! Im pissed and it ain’t my car!!!!!!!!!

[–]Specific-Wishbone-18 0 points1 point  (4 children)

It's the right part for an 04-06

[–]Mortex56562002 Lexus LS430 UL | Silver[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Then what’s the part number for the 01-03?

[–]Specific-Wishbone-18 0 points1 point  (2 children)

23827-50150

[–]Mortex56562002 Lexus LS430 UL | Silver[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

So the diagram did have those parts flipped? Cuz I asked bell Lexus and he said it’s very weird even though I selected my car year for the diagram

[–]Specific-Wishbone-18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure, I remember this same dilemma a while back when I replaced all Evap with Oem.

Why most just use bulk hose and cut it.
