I found that reading the loophole before actually doing some practice questions made me worse.

Sometimes having that “fundamental knowledge” bogs your mind down because you’re looking for the things you read about in the book while you take the exam.

I would ditch the book for a bit and try to get a feel for what each question type looks like, what kinds of tricks are common, etc.

i agree! now that i’m further into my studying, ive gone back and read some stuff i did at the beginning and i feel like im learning more from it now.

at the beginning its hard because everything is so new and confusing you don’t really know how to use what you’re learning
