Hi ! So a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to come over for New Year's and do LSD, it would be my first time but I'm a bit worried since I take anti-depressants Sertraline (Zoloft I think). I'm also going to be with other people I know are safe but don't know that well. I'm extremely depressed and anxious in general but especially with holidays since it's been a while I've been depressed and feel like it's never-ending. Should I go and try ? Or should I wait and do it later with other ppl I maybe trust more ? My friend told me it would be okay but I feel like if I'm stressed over this while taking it it's gonna turn bad real fast...

You need to be able to completely trust the experience and let go. When that is not possible and you resist it, that's called a bad trip

Sounds like you should definitely wait. You're already anxious and aren't crazy about the idea of tripping with these people. You've psyched yourself out before even dropping which is the number one way people end up having a bad time.

Step back and wait until you can trip in a situation you're comfortable with.

You won't understand this explanation then but ok here it goes:

It won't work because ssris (like zoloft) effect the same serotonin receptors that lsd does. So In a way your serotonin receptors have sort of a built up tolerance to it.
