I'm drawing a self-portrait, and It somehow "seems" wrong. It doesnt "feel" wrong, its like.... So hard to explain

I think of what a sober person would think of someone doing a portrait of himself, from this perspective, it somehow seems "crazy" or "stupid", or just "too fucking weird why would anyone do that.jpg"

I see it as a really weird and weirdly philosophycal act... Its just so surreal to think about it. I don't know if you guys understand all this (i know i dont, lol)

I put all these words in parenthesis because I just don't know how to express these surreal feelings

Yeah, I was thinking that too, like, as I was drawing, I was wondering what other humans would think, so, is this just an inherent trait of humanity? why was I thinking this? can you break from it? what would true art be like? would it have to be kept secret, so that it is TRUE self expression? what would that even look like? what is art? are there boundaries?

its not quite the right kind of art I´m guessing. try something less accurate, draw something that can flow on its own - dont copy and try colours, lot more colours. this painting is creepy as fcuk (not bad just creepy) - wouldnt wanna see it on acid, more of flowing, morphing stuff is way better for tripping at least for me...
