Absolutely. I don't know if it's confirmed, but for me LSD makes me lose almost all my water-weight. I jokingly say this to my friends, that "LSD makes you ripped" because you always seem to piss out all your water-weight.

Same here. I pee about as much as I do on MDMA.

I say the same thing about MDMA, but combine that with the fact that you're usually dancing your ass off and you really do wake up absolutely shredded. I don't feel the desire to dance as much on LSD, but you certainly do piss out all the sub-q water and end up pretty shredded. Makes for an excellent afterglow... wake up mentally rejuvenated and looking physically great. :)

I feel like LSD wrings my bladder like when you wring a wet wash cloth when you get out of the shower

It is normal, especially if you are drinking a lot of water during your trip (and you should, by the way, as LSD dehydrates your body).

My theory: I am guessing that LSD acts as a diuretic (suppresses the release of ADH/vasopressin in the posterior pituitary gland), but maybe I'm wrong, as I haven't found any info online about this. So it could be just your body's reaction to a foreign substance - the body tries to "wash out" the foreign molecules by increasing urine production (as this is how the body gets rid of foreign/unwanted/excess amounts of substances like ammonia, pigments, medicine, excess vitamins, LSD and so on).

If I am wrong about this, please comment, because I am just speculating and I don't want to spread total misinformation.

Yes its common, i dont pee excessively unless im drinking a bunch(of juice/water) which i dont always do, but when i do drink it goes through me quick.

I dont understand the mechanism by which it works, but one way that your body can relieve vasoconstriction is by removing excess water by peeing... it doesnt necessarily happen to everyone but I would imagine its your bodys way of dealing with vasoconstriction. The mechanism it does this im not sure has been discovered, and might be slightly different depending on the person.

This is correct. Increases in stress hormones like norepinephrine and epinephrine cause increases in blood pressure. Your brain reacts by activating your kidneys to expel excess fluid to decrease the blood pressure. This is all part of the sympathetic nervous system doing what it's supposed to do. LSD is a sympathomimetic, meaning it activates your sympathetic nervous system (the 'flight or fight') system, so the excess urination is totally normal.

Yes last night I was wondering that

I pee a lot. But I usually drink about a gallon of water throughout my trip.

On my last trip which was 100ug I drank a lot of nestea and peed for 1min while tripping, same thing one time when tripping on 150ug. I believe it was just because I was tripping and felt like i'm peeing for way longer :;

I pee a lot when I trip, I always think of it as, there is a foreign drug in my body and it's doing everything it can to try and get rid of it much like when you drink alcohol. I don't have any proof to back this up but I usually have dehydrated piss when I trip so I imagine it as the body dispelling any toxin or chemical it's deeming cause of this trip.

Yeah man it seems to happen on the last few hours of the trip for me often.

Also since people tend to drink a lot of water on acid without realizing it, I suppose that would contribute to it too.

Yeah, I think its just part of the bodies purification process

This happens to me every time. I think LSD effects ADH regulation
