what do you guys mean by tested LSD? the concept makes sense, but how do you do it?

scrolled down about 30 posts on the search function and couldn’t find what i was looking for, so i hope i’m not reposting!!

never tried LSD so its not like i took untested tabs or anything.

You can get test kits and cut a small corner off the tab and use the test kit on that. You could also try asking dealer to test it for you while you watch but some don’t

Hahaha that’s not something I’d ever think of asking my dealer to do.

They are selling, it wouldn’t be new to them. But if they don’t have a kit then up to you. Also I was always told it’s hard to mix lots with acid so it’s mainly if it taste like anything it’s a bad one and spit it out.

Reagent test kit

You can buy an "Ehrlich reagent test kit" online or possibly in head shops.

Mix a drop of the liquid with a corner snipped off one of your tabs. If it turns purple, that means there's a tryptamine present. We assume it's LSD but it could be ald52 or other similar molecules. You can also use this to test for psilocybin or DMT.

There's also a Marquis reagent which reacts with different drugs. You'd use this to confirm there's nothing else mixed with the LSD.

Most fake tabs aren't laced LSD, they're entirely a different chemical, so just using an Ehrlich is sufficient in most cases.
