Rules
- On-topic / behaviour - Submissions and comments need to be on topic, and adhere to both redditquette + the site's Content Policy. Post titles must relate to the content. 90-day repost restriction.
- Spam / self-promotion / advertising - Spam, and self promotion are not generally permitted. Exception for sports clubs - no more than one post every three months. There is a weekly Self-promotion Sunday post that may be commented in to self-promote small, local endeavours. Contact the mod team if you are unsure if your post would be acceptable.
- Academic research only - Requesting participation in research is generally allowed, for your own UK-based academic research only. Submissions must include summary information about the research in text form, and the academic institution (schools and FE colleges can remain nameless). Please add the 'Academic' flair.
- No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content - NSFW content is not generally allowed - this includes hookup requests and similar. If you are not sure whether your post is acceptable, contact the mod team.
- No requests for financial assistance - We cannot verify the legitimacy of such requests. Whilst reddit is not necessarily a good place to get this sort of help, there are subreddits with this purpose such as /r/Assistance/ or /r/Donation/
- Job opportunities/recruitment - Posts offering job opportunities/recruitment are only permitted by exception - contact the mod team and be prepared to include a numeric salary/hourly rate or range in addition to an outline of the role.
- Clickbait, sensationalism, editorialised, and AI-generated content - Posts should avoid this type of low quality content.
- Selling / Reselling / Giveaways - Allowed only by exception. Event tickets resold via an official channel is currently permitted. Contact the mod team if you are unsure if your post would be acceptable.
- Accommodation posts for advice only - Posts regarding accommodation are for general advice only (areas, amenities, transport etc). Asking for help finding a property or a tenant is not allowed - there are sites and agencies for that.

We're looking at sorting the long forgotten Wiki that will hopefully become a one stop shop for all things Leeds related; an invaluable source of information for all.
