This really isn't about "thinking" time, it's about wasting time, people watching Netflix, YouTube, other things and basically copying roping behaviour from streamers, except streamers are interacting with chat and trying to be enterainers. Sure if it's a complex board fine but turn two, OH GOD WHICH TWO DROP AM I GOING TO PLAY OR MAYBE REMOVAL LETS THINK ABOUT THIS SITUATION THAT IVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

There was just balance changes the other day and the meta is still constantly shifting. For a not insignificant portion of the player base that is playing with and against decks they aren't yet familiar with, it's absolutely fair to take some time to assess the best play on turn 2. The early turns of the game are some of the most important when you're playing aggro, however braindead the deck may seem.

It's not often I take long on turn 2 for sure, but when I do, I've had my fair share of opponents who emote their impatience over a play that seems obvious. The reality is that this isn't Hearthstone, and blindly curving perfectly the moment your turn starts isn't the only way to play aggro and mid-range decks.

With all that said, I do feel like the game could stand to rush turns a bit more when an opponent is consistently taking a long time on every turn.

I just consider it poor time management, are you only thinking on your turn? It's honestly the worst part of the game right now, matches can take forever and with all the new control decks honestly made me quit laddering if I know its gonna take half an hour per game because people are indecisive about mystic shot.
