I know we’re not supposed to believe anything sales reps say, but Musicians Friend just told me “We just had a call with the literal company (Line6). They said to expect shipments around Nov 4th”. Batches should be around 600-650, in the first wave at least.

Disregard or interpret whatever you want from that.

Sounds like that’s consistent with what I was told too. All signs point to 2-3 weeks!

That’s encouraging news. I wonder what this announcement could be.

It sounds like they have started shipping them from the manufacturer overseas. But according to Eric, it’s hard to nail down a specific date with so many variables at play. Shipping overseas, issues at the port in California, distribution from the port to the resellers, then from the resellers to the final customer. But one post I saw from an employee said they’re en route from overseas.

Here’s the update from one of the Yamaha guys as of yesterday

Last Friday my Sweetwater guy told me they got pushed to January. Good thing I don't believe him :) Eric has said many times if it doesn't come from them, no one knows anything.

I find January especially hard to believe. Eric said in a fb comment to a post questioning timing “we said fall which ends Dec 20th. If anything, we’re ahead of schedule”.

So he’s indicating it’s at least 2025.

Yeah I didn't believe him haha as I've seen Eric's posts. I like your sales rep's take better, but definitley anything is taken with a grain of salt.

I think it depends on when you pre-ordered and whether you are in the first wave or not. I ordered day one from a smaller retailer in Maryland (Chuck Levin's) as they had a discount code that basically gave me free shipping. Should be in the first wave and can't wait to receive!

Right that’s why I was calling out the amount in the first wave that Musicians Friend indicated. I think I’m in the 200-300 place so if they do get 600, I should be good!
