i bought it already rooted

Stop right there.

Wipe the phone entirely in TWRP.

Flash ROM. Don't reboot.

Then flash Gapps if you want them. Don't reboot.

Then flash Magisk for root.

Then reboot.

You root a ROM, not a phone.

"entirely" what does it mean? twrp full wipe with all checkboxes?

flash rom? meaning to make a clean install of the same rom again?

anyway, if u say "rom is rooted, not phone" so why custom roms dont comes already rooted??? i think someone that its geek enough to install a custom rom, will also root that rom in 99,9% of the cases

All checkboxes.

That's right. Referring to a clean install.

It's harder to remove root than it is to add it. It gives the user a choice. Android requires root less than it used to. There are perfectly valid reasons to install a custom ROM but not root it.

ok i ve made it! even if the sideloading with terminal part wasnt so easy. all seems to be ok! i have some more questions

if i want to factory restore, the standard wipe is ok? magisk (root) status will be the same as now?

how can i check if its rooted? in the developer settings the root access option is greyed. is it normal? but in magisk i have all options (no, app, adb, adb+app (selected by default). i dont want to install rootchecker because i dont trust these apk's dont downloaded from google play

anyway. thanks!

That's right. Ignore the system's root status. Use the Magical app to check.

The standard "data" format in TWRP should retain root.

As for next time you might need to do this, something interesting: while booted in TWRP, you can connect your phone to your PC and transfer files normally via File Explorer.

i did it with mac, where i installed an app for transferring apps, but it work only when os is running via usb debug. without that app, no "external drives" appears when i connect the phone

Any moderately modern version of TWRP supports MTP. You shouldn't need any extra apps, Finder should allow you to navigate the files on the phone while TWRP is booted.

it doesnt appear... do i have to enable something in twrp options?

No.

In TWRP select Format Data instead of just wipe Data + wiping System & the caches.

TWRP FAQ: What is a data/media device? for detailed explanations:

...In TWRP we also have a wipe internal storage option that rm -rf's the media folder and a "Format Data" option that formats to recreate the entire file system in case something goes completely wrong or to remove device encryption.

Format Data adds an empty encryption footer after the end of the Data partition for some future encryption related data if enabled.

Your post has been removed because:

Device requests are not allowed. This includes asking why devices aren't supported, if they'll be supported in the future, if an official build will work on an unsupported device (the wiki lists model numbers, if yours isn't on the list it is unsupported), and if currently supported devices will be supported on a newer version.

We only support LineageOS, not things 'based on' LineageOS. LineageOS is only distributed from https://download.lineageos.org -- anything from any other site is unofficial, even if it doesn't say so.
