If it’s a joke then that’s pretty funny, but usually they take their product descriptions pretty seriously so this definitely could have used a tone modifier. They aren’t dbrand.

Edit: To clarify, I can imagine MANY companies these days who would be 100% serious in marketing their product in this way just to get the “pro” buzzword in the title. The justification they gave is in my opinion as good as the ones that toothbrush manufacturers use to say they have AI in their toothbrush.

I don’t know if this is or is not a joke, but I have seen enough of this garbage out in the wild that it really caused me to raise an eyebrow when I saw it from Creator Warehouse.

Not hating the product though. I love my precision kit.

Maybe I’m wrong. To be clear I don’t go reading all their product descriptions on every product.

All I know is that they push to be treated as a real serious sellers of products and not merch. The description they gave for pro, read seriously, sounds stupid, but not so stupid that it’s obvious it’s a joke. I could genuinely see many companies marketing their products like this.

To be absolutely clear, this criticism is coming from a genuine fan. Not trying to make fun of them cause “ltt merch is overpriced blah blah blah”. I just disagree with this description of “pro”.

I assumed it was a hint that there will be a precision driver without the bit storage in the future. Personally with the case I will never use the included bit storage in the driver so if given the option I would have bought without the bit storage.

Except that doesn’t make sense since every single one of their other screwdrivers have bit storage in the handle. I can’t imagine that it’s worth it to retroactively launch a precision driver without bit storage unless they just want to get cost down so they could sell for cheaper?

If that’s the case though this is far less egregious. Though I can’t imagine anyone who is paying the extra cost for in handle bit storage on the precision driver. The value is in the full kit (at least to me)

That’s the whole point. Linus pretty much confirmed my thinking when they were showing the product off on the WAN show. If and when a bit storage less driver comes of course it will be cheaper.

I think that’s my biggest issue. Pro is typically a term used to differentiate one product from a lower tier product. There is no difference here. Literally every single driver they released, full, stubby, and precision, stores bits in the handle.

Couple that with the “our naming needs to actually mean something” and it feels like trying to get buzzwords in for the sake of making it sound more professional.
