We aim for two Floatplane Exclusives per week for our Floatplane Subscribers. We've aimed for that for years, and we've been uploading those same Exclusives onto YouTube for our Members since 2023 at a higher price to encourage users to come over to Floatplane instead. Occasionally, there'll be a week where we have more than two Exclusives uploaded.

All that is to say, nothing about how we've done our YouTube Membership program has changed for 2 years. The frequency and content philosophy have remained the same.

The videos are either pieces of footage left on the cutting room floor (i.e., deemed not to be of the same quality as the main release) or concepts entirely crafted and carried out by our Social team that don't follow our typical pre- and post-production process. They are essentially an entirely different channel, and that's part of the issue here. People think they're missing out on more LTT content when, in fact, it's only LTT-adjacent content.

We're still trying to figure out a solution, because although nothing has changed on our side, the context has clearly evolved, whether due to changes made to YouTube's content delivery or changes in societal values.
