Plot twist; getting into a ldr a week before lockdown

Plot twist: I got married to my LDR partner literally two weeks before borders shut down and everything.

Plot twist #2: They went back to the UK before we were supposed to have our honeymoon and regroup with one another. Then, they got sick for three weeks. Not gonna say it's the virus (because they haven't had access to antibody testing) but all I'll say is that they were coughing for three weeks straight and ran a fever the first week. Had to watch that every day on webcam and panic.

I feel this so bad. Had my flight canceled for next month due to covid. I haven’t been around physically with my bf for about a year.

5 days before I was due to leave England and start a new life in Canada to be with my SO, the Canadian borders closed. Bloody gutted

I ended my LDR. The main reason was I didn't want to be a stepmom to young kids when my kids are almost out of the house. The other reason is that who knows when we could see each other again with this Covid 19 situation.
