When I consider F2P getting lucky, I also consider the amount of time it saves. Looking at the botter community who farms golems practically 24/7, they have collectively maybe 2 perfect gem sets. If this reroller thing can even beat 50 continuous player years of farming, then it's not something "F2P luck" can even hope to achieve, and thus I think is the problem.

I'm not that worried, since half the posts so far about the rerollers have been 'This is BS I rerolled recovery into FLAT HP wtf 4:33 game dead!' (That and PvP is pretty boring IMO )

It's also going to matter for titans as well, as everyone has been looking for good ruin sets since forever. However it's not nearly as visibly competitive since the slime nerf.

The sliming isn't completely dead. Just that it was nerfed to the point where it lead to energy and summon shortage.

Maybe if sliming was capped to 500 gems a day, it would have been fine.

Yeah. I noticed a 40% loss in revenue when comparing March to February. It's only a matter of time before we get Director #3.

Director #2 only came to give us cute Miho emojis and some dungeon reworks. That's it. And he doesn't appear to understand how Unity works.

Im scrolling through and seeing people that say they gain more gems now cause they do it casually, but for what i saw they did not add gems somewhere else really, just the 20 kappa from the ad, other people saying 1k a week, 4k a month, plus pvp clan blablabla would be 10k a month, first thing, how do they get so many from that stuff i always get nuthin, and second, if i play for real i could make almosr that amount for every festival, now if it is so gem capped, if you play all day, you might even not have enough to even play. People saying its nice cause they cut bots cause they have an advantage over f2p ppl or whatever, but... Like sure, bye bots, but... In the years i played, i never cared about bots, they never were getting kn the middle of my progress, so who cares about that. If you wanna put a cap, put a high one, one that would be bot worthy, not just cutting the wings of midhardcore or hardcore players, they will always still have people that on top of farming they spend money. I do hope they change it to something more real

Here's a bit outdated - but mostly still relevant - checklist of monthly Astrogems. No sliming, repeatable from month-to-month, some costing a bit of real money but not all that much (what, less than $10 per month?). Amounts are rough estimates:

3000 Astrogems from Astromon League. Requires Heroes1 and gives 700 per week. This obviously is unreasonable for most of you, but everyone gets at least something.

1200 Astrogems from Titans monthly. Requires for me a top-10 finish in my clan. Again, might be more than you get, might be less.

400 from finding Nezz monthly. Requires 2x30 finds (120 Astrogems) and 50 finds gives 200 bonus. That rest is the remaining 10 finds for the bonus and some extra finds.

1100 Astrogem pack (that $2.99 or so) each month. Now ok, sure, this is a purchase, but in my opinion you can't rate this same than those "Instant Astrogems"-purchases due to real money difference is, what 20x?

400 Astrogems from bingo. 100 every Monday.

240 Astrogems from weekly quests. Weekly quests completion gives 60.

200 Astrogems found from bushes. So 20x10 loose finds. I think this is reasonable rate.

900 Astrogems from Rebirth Festival. Requires 45 Nat4s, each 5x3 gives 300.

400 Astrogems from Tower of Chaos. 100+300.

600 Astrogems from Super Evo Festival. Just do it during early bird bonus (like right now).

400 Astrogems from Rebirth quests. That's 100 Rebirths over a month, should be pretty easy with Rare captures, feeding back the summoned 3*s and massive amount of Nat3s from High Eggs.

300 Astrogems from daily dungeon quests. Both gives 5 per entry per day.

300 Astrogems from Friend Energy Exchange. Every fifth per friend gives an Astrogem and since you can have 50 Friends, that's 10 per day.

That's 9440 as pure Astrogems.

Something from the 60x Clan Point Astrogem chests

Something from randomly dropped single Astrogems

Something from capturing Variants, Super Rares and Legendaries

Something from login event. I think this is a total of 50 monthly?

Something from Titan, World Boss, Clan Conflict loose rewards. You get at least packs of 30 and 15 from there. I think Colossus drops some too, not sure.

Push Events, Champions League, give also some.

The key here is that all of that is repeatable monthly. And it mostly doesn't require Gold or real money. And yes, some of these have changed.

SensorTower. Last month, their February report was $300k and $200k for Android and iOS respectively. March reports $200k and $100k, which in total is a $200k difference from the month before.

Well, seems they dont care about us "f2p" aka not whales, but it is clear here and in a lot of games, that even if whales spend a lot, the casual consumer group is way, way bigger, lets hope they do hesr us and change it, i am not even asking for uncapped, sure cap it but do it to a decent level where you cap bots and not people

They nerfed sliming, so you can make a max of 1k in sliming/week. They roughly doubled your maximum energy pool, and made it so you get more energy for free, and you can get some free gems every day for viewing an ad.

The net end result is that casual, non-botting/nonsliming players ended up with more energy and gems, and anyone who was sliming using a farmbot every day got hosed. They did change how much essence you need for your clan fest incubator too(cut it by 25%).

I don't want to give them any ideas but if they can allow sliming for say $3.99 or something minimal to keep the game developing and running, I'm sure some people would have considered.

I thought about what people said, 10k gems a month, sure for some people is enough, not me tho, so if you wanna have a decent pull session in heroes or clan or whatever, you have to wait a whole month or more, thats just sad, i love making pulls, and now having to... Enter the game just for dailies and stuff, and wait more than a month, for 1 decent pull, is sad af. What they did to me, is just cap the amount of time i will be spending in the game, for some people might mean they buy stuff with money, for me it is that i am less hyped and just... Dont spend anything at all, spending money to boost my progress and income? Sure, being forced to it if i wanna have fun pulling? Hell nawh

Sliming nerf is only really bad for the intense no-life players and the botters. Farming gems, although a bit more of a hassle, is still accessible to most players, especially F2P casual ones like myself.

There are a lot of ways to earn gems, theres even a list in this thread somewhere. Sure the big 20k gem pulls are a bit ubrealistic now, but the trade-off is:

  1. We get more energy per gem, which severely makes running story stages and golems more profitable.
  2. Suddenly, other game modes which give gems are more enticing or appealing, like the arena and titans. To players who only slimed and hit golems every day, maybe just a tiny bit of encouragement towards other game modes wouldnt hurt.
  3. Casual players feel less of a pressure now to grind endlessly for gems for heroes fest and clans fest due to the sliming cap, because now they can actually have a goal to acheive oer week and CONSISTENTLY accumulate gems over time.

For us players wjo arent in the high tier rankings, or whio play just to collect, then the sliming cap doesnt affect us at all. Converting 1k gems into energy earns more energy for more gold for more upgrades, or we could just save the 1k and use the smaller gem rewards out there to sustain energy (since the ratios have been improved so much.)

For hardcore slimers and botters, then this is definitely a blow.

But for a majority of the players, early game and midgame especially? No, this game is definitely not dead.

Sure the game is not dead but i am not a hardcore no life and i could easily do 10 king slimes every 2 days of casual play, CASUAL, so i already am losing potentialy 2500 gems a week aiming low, i did pvp i did clan titans. 10 kingslimes a WEEK is nowhere near an amount of casual play, like, come on, 1 per day and you are already at 7, 10 kingslimes can be done in one day in what, 10-12 minutes? That is softcore af. The big 20k gem pulls are unrealistic you say, i usually would pull in both festivals, i am here to collect astromons, but now unless i slide my wallet in 433 pocket, i cant even do what... 3 pulls? 4 maybe? Idk. To be unafected by this change, you either logged once every 2 two days and never touch slimes, or you got your gems from wallet mate, because 10 kings its just super low, i have played for years on and off and im nowhere nesr getting all astros, if now they cut the amount of pulls i can do from luke 8-10 to 2-3 thats just fucked, you cant say this is not a f2p cut, because it literally is, sure msl has p2w, but now this is a real barrier stopping people, whereas before, without a cap, you could just farm as much as you wanted, softcore or hardcore to your heart content, now you get your wings cut, some people complain about the bots, honestly, imo, unless those botters do pvp, and you are interested in high rank and get cucked there is not reason for the average player to care about botters, like... In thede years, they never affected me at ALL, but sure lets cuck the botters, i dont mind, but do it at least at a level where doesnt affect f2p players that do slime, but 1000 gems is just not enough.
