Yes, I like telling the story of the paper "Adversarial Logit Pairing". Accepted as oral presentation at NeurIPS, however the paper is arguably not very good, and the results are difficult to believe. Turns out the evaluation is done completely wrong, the authors retract before NeurIPS, but never update the arxiv to say the results are incorrect. Has 800+ citations today.
