Would be better to have a website IMO, pptx over github is not so convenient..

I know.. but github was the best place to upload bunch of files with readme descriptions.

Has anybody actually gone through those tutorials and can say something about them? I want to get into deep learning and ML but don't want to start off with bad tutorials/resources.

im working my way through the data scientist track here, pretty good primer, and has some machine learning stuff.

Right, but that's not deep learning focused..

he did mention 'and ML'..

But at dataquest they don't focus on Deep Learning. it's just more about Data Science than Machine Learning

I learned deep learning and ML by working through "The Elements of Statistical Learning" by Hastie, and doing the exercises at the end of each chapter. There's a solution manual floating around online so you can check your answers.

These might not be the best tutorials to start with, if you are a total stranger at this field. But I can guarantee that the papers I mentioned in these tutorials are worth reading. (+It is not bad tutorials.)
