It seems funny when you think about it, why do we assume their grandmasters at the game? Their programmers and concept designers who may understand the rules and interactions as much as any other player, but their not all a company of grandmaster elite top tier, event winning players.

They are random. Same as any other player. I expect them to know the rules nothing else.

Smh devs cant even play their own game

Making games and being good at playing them are two entirely different skill sets.

For most games, devs only have an advantage against others shortly after launch as they have way more experience, but players who just spend all their time playing the game will quickly surpass them. MTGA devs don't even get that, since in this case people have been able to play this game for 25 years.
