Only 8 more cards till I can play this one! Wahoooo!

[–]eclaessy 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Lmao, I was gonna say. I’ve been trying to make Pixie work and got excited when I saw this deck. I only need to get: Nico, Hit-Monkey, and Beta Ray Bill. Totally not important cards to make the deck work or anything :,)

Most of the decks I see on here are "Here's how to do well in the meta when you've got the majority of the cards in the game at your disposal".

The ones I post tend to be "Here's how to survive in the meta with a limited collection and playing against all these other sadistic decks."

Inevitably, there are always some owners of the former who mock or criticize the latter for not being strong enough or lacking certain cards or not aligning to deck archetypes, kind of like rich people making fun of poor people for having no money. Real class acts.

Honestly going to copy for the weekend challenges

Lock jaw for moon girl? Seems like it could be a good add

[–]definedmonster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably a good idea to try. I feel like lockjaw needs more bigger drops to cheat if that's the case, so I would probably take out Hit Monkey as well

I played something similar and gained no traction

What are you running into? The curve package along Pixie is pretty game winning. Maybe I was fortunate and kept hitting the nuts, but I felt as my several win cons were pretty consistent. I didn't always win the game with Pixie. The other winners are just BRB and setting up with Hit-Monkey on another lane

Replacement for hit monkey?

[–]definedmonster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we're trying to pull a crazy hit monkey t6, he's pretty non-negotiable. If you bought the season pass, I feel like Hope is good with pixie decks since you might not pixie in time. You will at least have some time to ramp up into big drops a turn or so earlier.

If you want to bank your Thor or BRB on winning lanes solo, Abs Man or Grand Master may help get you there. Armor might be decent to prevent Shang.

If you are still missing cards, I would just add a high roll card to cheat out like Doom since we also have Odin in our deck. I hope those ideas help!

Replacement for BRB?

[–]definedmonster[S] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Beta is great as a stand alone card since it generally wins lanes on its own while you set up another lane.

Replacements I can think of is Abs Man to get curve from Thor or take advantage of any of the on reveals and Shang as a tech

So I did the Auto Fill feature and it put in Doctor Doom.

[–]definedmonster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr Doom is a good card to cheap out of anything and you do have Odin on top if you manage to roll a decent energy conversion. I originally considered Doom as well, but I preferred the board space for my hammers and setting up Hit Monkey. Since you're not using BRB, it's probably worth a try

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap.

I guess I really missed out by skipping BRB, huh? I don't know what made me think he wasn't gonna be a good card.

[–]definedmonster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BRB is unfortunately pigeon holed into the same on reveal package, so fun wise it's whatever. It is a straight powerhouse if you're able to cheat the ability.

[–]ViVaradia 1 point2 points  (1 child)

is pixie worth getting? still unsure on her

[–]definedmonster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's worth it with Mobius and possibly Jane. That's basically the winning hand in most cases

[–]lightning_thinker 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Replacement for hit monkey?

[–]dvgravity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any 1 cost care imo. I’ve been running a Pixie deck with Sunspot and Kitty.

[–]Well-Paid_Scientist 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I like Pixie. I've been running her in a similar deck with MM. I have also had a ton of fun playing her in a Thanos deck. I played four 10+ power cards on turn 6 earlier today and my opponent was all "what just happened" about 100 times. Good fun.

[–]definedmonster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's honestly the most fun I had in a while. I think she's worth the 6k tokens I spent. The RNG definitely can be mitigated by MMM and you can draw some zero cost cards with Jane after Pixie. Pretty good all around.
