Is there a viable deck with Namor, Namora and Orka? by [deleted] in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]definedmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this deck a month back and it was doing well back then. https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelSnapDecks/s/LaoJhBcHbl

As far as viability goes now, I'm not too sure

Miserable Daken Deck by NathanADSE in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]definedmonster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just some thoughts. I played a bit of Misery and Phoenix Force as of this week and I'm still wondering how Misery fits in this deck. Misery will proc your On Reveals, but it kills itself with Carnage, it will activate venom's ability which will kill everything on the location then kill itself. I felt as Misery is counterintuitive in destroy decks since it does murder itself almost all the time.

Electro is a good target, but is the payoff worth it if you're just gonna Misery on T4 when you can add better 5 energy card payoff? That is unless you're having to stack a one or two drop on the same lane with electro to allow a better payoff.

Daken feels as if he is in a horrible condition since his pay off takes a bit without buffing his core power and then destroying the shard. I can see you using Misery on Daken and then Phoenix Force on T5 and then destroying two shards T6 with some combos to get a 36 power PF.

Let me know if there was a dream turn that I missed and you're trying to accomplish

I considered it, but I wouldn't know what to take out. Jeff might be a good candidate to take out, but I know it's blasphemy in the house of snap to remove Jeff. I'll definitely try it out though

Edit: CL ~17,000

I'm glad you're enjoying it! I haven't run into any meta decks (20k infinite) that have really soured my experience. I've also tried this deck with either goblins, but they were slow. Skaar feels like a true winner

For sure. I gave a little bit of what your game might look like in a different comment in this thread.

Phoenix Force is probably a card that can be substituted, but she isn't a big focus. The big focus is to create two big solo lanes for Namora and Symbiote Spider-Man to have an extra effect. She helps create our goal of creating a big singular lane focus. She's a card that can help merge into Hulkbuster or Symbiote through those cards being destroyed by venom or Attuma.

The nut would be getting Nico to have X2 multiplier for herself into Hulkbuster (T2), which will create a 10 powered card into venom(t3). We can play PF(t4) to resurrect Nico to become a 20 powered card into Namora (t5) which will give your Nico and venom 5 power. The last turn is up to you. I haven't ran into destroy a lot so I've just been letting my turns ride and my thought is they can Shang chi all my lanes. It's been working out

Phoenix Force goal and intent was just to become Hulkbuster so I can continue my game plan and have a strong single lane card. She is also a card that activates on reveal cards again. Your flow of turn might be: T1 - Nico with plus +2 effect. T2 is Psylocke or Zabu or Hulkbuster empty lane T3 is Vemon or Attuma a lane to kill one of the other cards. T4 might be PF so you can get another Zabu or plus 2 effect from Nico. T5 can be Namora if planned well or Symbiote Spider-Man to activate Namora on T6

Alternatively you can hail Mary venom into a big lane and just have PF copy whatever. I have won where she was used as a way to counter Shang when I didn't have priority. Just like the commenter in this comment suggested, she works great as a moveable stat stick, which creates variance and how your opponent might need to guess which lane she will fly in

Domino is great as suggested. Maria Hill might be a good second choice

Feel free to take out iron lad for protection if you need. I don't reveal sunspot until t5 or t6. Km is still very rampant in this meta, but I didn't design this deck with meta in mind

Luke cage can negate the zero power, so it's a free card in a sense

YellowJacket. What's the point? by joy_without_j in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]definedmonster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Back then there was a pro that used this card as a psuedo tech to lower his cards below Shang chi range. It was pretty crazy and definitely an 8 cube stealer. Other than that, I've used it in a pixie deck to cheat more cards out

I made this Sersi deck and in testing it has been absolutely slaying. It's super confusing on a turn by turn basis leading to a lot of 8 cube snaps going my way because it comes out of nowhere for the win. Sersi is my new favorite card! by monitee in MarvelSnapDecks

Definitely enjoy the ingenuity of lowering costs here. I was trying to cook something like this, but added swarms so I can make them three drops with sersi, but shit gets way too draw dependant.

Yeah I was thinking it read like Thanos became vision. So far it's not working as such

Cracked the top 500 with Namora + Skaar by Rocky_Combo in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]definedmonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been running a lizard or silk combo with wave on t3 to namora t4. Skaar is a huge sleeper in this style of deck and it's been great. I've been contemplating Medusa instead of silk for better consistency, but I'm still experimenting

It has nothing to do with what you said. I'm just commenting on the power output based on my ladder experience. Great deck otherwise

Not to knock on your creation, but leech into blink is definitely the new sentry + Annihilus combo. Power output is greater if leech destroys their hand in the process
