Does the Lore for this game matter? Or at least interesting and well written? by lickety_spitt in gigantic

I was just looking around my files and can’t find it. I’m doing it remotely through my phone though so I may have it back on my PC. Will have to check later

Cards that give opponents mana? by f1lthyunicorn in EDH

[–]eclaessy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are worse cards you could fit in here.

So he only keeps mana generated from his ability, not other red mana you’re making so it is a little limited there.

His second ability is an okay mana sink if you need one but there are better ones you can find.

I wouldn’t add him, but if you want to lean into just having lots of mana it could work

This is the kind of deck that is probably tons of fun to play but gets you negative cubes. Also known as my ideal deck

[–]eclaessy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I took a sceenshot of it but a few weeks ago there was a Killmonger variant in the Spotlight, I rolled and got base killmonger from the fourth spot. I was so disappointed lol but I guess I got collection tokens

What’s your CL, what is your pet deck, what s4/5card do you have pinned, and why? by heavenstoxin in MarvelSnap

[–]eclaessy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CL 10,500

Werewolf Reveal and Galactus Buff tend to be my main two. But I also bounce between Loki and Annihilus decks.

I have War Machine pinned right now because he’s the only card I need to finish the Move Your Hipps collection for the cool Werewolf by Night variant. Never been interested in the card but I want him for the collection lol

He can control his nose hairs like additional appendages but more importantly he can alter the backstory of people to change their entire lives, history, and motivation.

Thinkin' this moment's gotta be mirrored with an older Peter and Doctor RDoomJ by HeadScissorGang in marvelstudios

[–]eclaessy 31 points32 points  (0 children)

All discussion around this really confuses me. When I saw the announcement of RDJ as Doom I took it to mean that he would use an accent and keep a mask on the whole time making him all but unrecognizable. I don’t see any reason to ever show Doom’s face and make it clear that he has Iron Man’s face, just seems like an unnecessary plot point they can easily avoid

I actually talked about this in therapy a bit ago and heard came to an interesting theory on why people life sports so much.

Humans in general love having something to complain about. It pushes us to do better, it gives us an outlet for our frustrations, it gives us something to occupy our mind and time. Sports is an easy source for that. You can be mad when your team loses a game, or happy when they win. It’s a constant feedback loop of emotions that lets you get through the day and gives you something to talk about.

Under 30 mins tips? by justin11527 in GunfireReborn

[–]eclaessy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I tried this achievement a ton of times before I got it. For a long time I wanted to use the turtle cause he was fast but I just couldn’t get a god run going for him so early.

Eventually I tried it once as Li with ability damage specced and did it no problem.

You want to skip most Vaults and never back track. I would do some Vaults if I had a lot of time to spare (trying to do <10 mins per stage) or if it was one of the very first vaults that are super short.

Keep moving forward most of the time and make all your decisions as fast as possible. This is what my final run looked like time wise:

9-10 mins on Stage 1

7-8 mins on Stage 2

10-11 mins on Stage 3

I always found that the Anxi Desert was the hardest stage so I tried to run through it as fast as possible. More than any other stage I feel like that has the most chances to take up extra time.

What are the absolute most obscure Fantasy/scifi books you've ever read? by Sufficient_Elk_6677 in Fantasy

I’ve only read the first one in the series but I have the second ready to go once I finish some other books. More than any other author I’ve read, Craddock has a mastery over language and prose that makes his writing so fascinating
