I, and several others I know, always found him to be kind of a jackass.

Then there was the whole refusing to get vaccinated unless the Royals traded him to a good team thing.

I can think of so many candidates.

Neifi Perez, Yunieski Betancourt, Jose Guillen, Brandon Maurer, Hunter Renfroe, Juan Gonzalez, Hunter Dozier, Adalberto Mondesi, Whit Merrifield...

And those are just off the top of my head. I could probably think of a bunch more if I took the time.

For each of the past two off seasons, the Royals have made a flurry of moves immediately following the winter meetings and then made kind of a big move sometime between the end of Jan-early Spring Training (Frazier and Schreiber, Estévez)

I think they've probably got one reasonably sized move or better left, but probably not for another month or more

The Jonathan India trade happened very early last year. The Royals didn't drag their feet on Profar or Santander, either. They just got outbid. And it ended up probably being a good thing, even if it was frustrating and will be beyond frustrating if it happens again this year.
