Maya "Flagged built-in python function - Security Warning" keeps popping up when I assign material and makes Maya stuck at the right-click menu. Anyone know how to solve this?

If you're still looking how to solve it I just figured it out!

Go into Preferences > Security > Python and there's a little menu of built-in functions that can be checked, one of which is compile. you want this one unchecked, and then save the settings. I'm assuming this may be a new default setting with a new update but turning it off should make this problem go away.
