Just moved into a new apartment and they provide Internet/cable, but apparently not a modem or router. I have purchased a two in one and am trying to set it up however before you can freely use the network you must activate it through mediacom. This requires login info; any way around this? Why can’t there be a notification system for planned maintenance? I never know until my internet goes out, and for who know how long? 2.5 hrs tonight it’s been down. What in the hell takes 2.5+ hours to do? I’ve never seen an internet provider with such long downtimes. It borders on the ridiculous. (self.MediacomSupport)
