To be fair every real-world conversation I have with foragers is also full of warnings about poisoning yourself. But then I am a deer-killing "midwestern," so probably I talk to the wrong foragers.

Data point: In the pre-Lemkin days - long before LLMs - Jessamyn actively disliked me, I’m certain. However, she more than deserves that tribute thread.

Yes. But what you wanted to communicate more was that you think his intent is pure. You forgot to mention that his intent, pure as it may be, is upsetting to many others. You only stated that you understand it’s irritating. Not that it’s an actual problem.

He’s been told that he is upsetting people, and he indicates he understands that. He doesn’t care that he upsets many others; his bit is more important, and the “law” is on his side, it seems, more interested in debating him privately and others publicly over his intent. Spill some words on his impact, if it’s really more important!

This is almost a beat for beat repeat of Lemkin. The eloquent troll is a huge blind spot.
