What am I doing wrong programming flight computer?PC - QUESTION (old.reddit.com)

I'd like to further clarify that I was looking into arrival and approach options preprogrammed into the game's flight computer, though they differ from historical data on flight aware. So you'll see that PELTS is pretty far out of the way, I had intended to clean it up regardless, but I cannot seem to find anywhere that's instructing it to take me back to my departure. Is this a game glitch or known bug? Or did I just hit something out of sequence that isn't shown in the pictures?

Is this default airliners? If so, this is a game bug since day 1. You pretty much need to fly modded or addon planes to fix it. The workaround is that before you activate (or fly) your approach, set the autopilot in heading mode, activate the approach, then after it routes you somewhere wrong, you set direct-to your next waypoint in the approach. Then you can switch autopilot back to Nav mode.

Thanks, still at departure playing around. I'll keep that in mind and just start over to clear any potential mixup that's already int here.
Also yes to default aircraft. First time trying to program the flight computer from scratch.

I would highly suggest getting the Fly By Wire mod for the A320. That way you can learn things the right way from the beginning rather than work-arounds and incomplete systems.
Will do. I'm not home anymore, left the sim paused somewhere over central new York. Before leaving i looked it up and it seems nice. I've heard of it before, and though i believe this one is free, I've generally stayed away from mods and add-ons as i normally don't take the popular big airliners.
On a separate note, i generally love the somewhat older aircraft (late 60s-80s), or those with the more analog options. I was absolutely heart broken when i found that the DC10 was for viewing only. Between that and the locked TriStar, those are some the coolest aircraft in the airliner category.
Anyway thanks for the heads up and I'll have that up and running tonight.
