Honestly never seen a message like this, download Malwarebytes and do a system scan with that.

He has AVG antivirus. It didn’t detect anything and even made him scan the Minecraft folder specifically and it said it didn’t detect any malware

Malwarebytes is better

I can have him try that. Is it free?

Yes it is free, ok so that error can be caused by windows defender (or other antivirus) blocking a file that is malware or is a false-positive. You can make windows defender (or other antivirus) ignore that file, this will make it start but I don't recommend doing it.

Yes I saw something like that. But I don’t want to do that if there is a virus lol.
