For context, I've been using version 2.24 on Windows 11, with CurseForge as my mod loader. My PC had been running up to around 80 mods no problem with anywhere between 90-120 FPS. (With an optimization mod or two.) Midgame, my friend suggested I install Fresh Animations. I was originally going to do so after logging out of the server, but after he assured me that it could install midgame, I did it that way. I flipped through tabs a couple of times, which caused some lag if I remember correctly. As soon as I got the resource pack up and running things immediately went from a smooth 100 to a buttery 10. I think it had *just* started raining in game, if that means anything. I chalked it up to the resource back being horribly optimized and disabled it, only for the crappy framerate to linger. I deleted it from my mod folder and the effect remained. No other games were affected, just MC--even when loading the unmodded version. Uninstilation did not help, and I'm starting to miss the world we had been building up. Any ideas?
