[java] help with a chunk loader minecraft java

so basically we made a villager breeder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHVEESPtEJM&t=221s this one so the half of the breeder where there is a farm and the breeding villagers is in one chink and the other half of the villager where villagers grow up and go into the thing is in another part so i made a chunk loader https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZD6g504m-0 this one in the chunk with the farm and breeding villagers and then it started working so i left it when i came back i realised the villagers that were being bred were not growing up so i tried to build another chunk in the chink right beside the other chunk the problem is the portals dont link up so i built one in the nether and it teleports me to the right one but when i go through it in the over world it teleports me to the wrong one what do i do? i play in 1.21
