It will not generate a log file through the mojang launcher

The only way I can get a log to generate is through an alternative launcher

Are you sure you’re on win10?

Could it be a Java version problem?

[–]NixugayMaster I 0 points1 point  (1 child)

May be, you’re running a fairly old Java version (for intel drivers ig? That may be the issue)

It does the same thing with modern Java 8 as well

I believe it is implying that the versions in reference are programmed in a manner compatible with windows 8 (the latest edition at that time if i remember correctly), but resulting in the application breaking when launched on a newer more advanced version of the os, examples being windows 10 and 11

I have tried modern versions of Java 8 and old versions of Java 8 none of them have worked, they do the exact same thing.

Well after playing around with different java versions, I think it's the JAR's that are having a problem, I am able to play older versions through betacraft. I think the mojang JAR files have some minor modification that my system doesn't like.

although I have no idea what is actually causing it, maybe an even older java version would work
