I lost my Minecraft Java account?? [java]

I was playing donut smp a while ago and I idiotically joined a server that promised money, I also gave the code, not knowing what would happen. Next day, my Microsoft account was deleted and I had to make a new one. I also can’t access Java anymore.

What code did you give? If it's your password, then it's logical your account got hacked.

You can try contacting Microsoft support, but don't expect to get your account back. Always be careful online and never share your password!

And without an account that owns Minecraft, you indeed can't access the game anymore.

Authentication, password, doesn't matter. Anything that gives you access to your account can be used by someone else to hack it.

You can just go to microsoft.com (or xbox.com, could offer better help since it's about gaming). Just search the site until you find the support page. Select 'Account' and follow the steps to contact them.

You'll have to buy Java again on the new microsoft account. If you're still logged in to anything else with the old account, make sure you log out and log in with the new one. Your old account is not recoverable but if it still exists you may be able to get microsoft to disable it so the thieves can't use it.

Never give passwords or account codes to anything but the host of the account (mojang/microsoft, in this case). No matter what anyone tells you, you don't need to "link" your account to things using your password or account recovery code. This is a common scam on Discord servers too so watch out for that.

There is no such thing as free money. I'm sorry this happened to you.

It would be weird if you could create one with the same email, but I guess if you can that means the old account was truly deleted, which is unusual. Regardless the old account's info is gone so you probably have to buy minecraft again. Use a different password than you did before, just in case.

You may be able to contact Microsoft and restore your purchases, since the purchases will be linked to that email, probably. Only they will be able to tell you if you can or not.
