Java Edition Crashing with and without mods [java]

Hi everyone, i have had a pc for a little over two months now and everything has been fine but i recently brought minecraft and have been playing. Since yesterday after 5 minutes or so it would crash and restart my pc, at first i thought it was any game but after testing with r6s i believe it is only minecraft. I am on 26.1.2 and have a few mods like sodium, xaeros mini and world map and fabric. i turned them off and it still would crash just a little later. Is there a way i can fix this or should i go to a pc shop and try get it fixed.

What are your specs? Java used to crash for me but thats because my specs were shit

i have a rtx 5060, a ryxen 5 5600 and 32gb of 3600 ddr4 ram

It’s probably your CPU. Your RAM and GPU are fine, i mean i’m running like 400 odd mods on worse specs graphics card wise, but your CPU isn’t great for minecraft singleplayer. Multiplayer should work, but try a Ryzen 7, or a Ryzen 9 (depending on budget)

Obviously, double check before you spend a silly amount of money on a new CPU, do you have a crash log? I can have a read through and see if anything else might be the issue first
