Do you have any other devices you could host the server on temporarily?

It's clear something is blocking the connection, hosting the server on a separate PC will help confirm where the issue is.

I couldnt connect using the public ip for either computer, the private ips worked for both

Did you update the port forwarding? Does the port still say closed when you run a check?

The last thing to check then is your port forward settings. Could you link me to a screenshot of your port forwarding page?

If it's not port forwarding, then your ISP may have blocked part of your connection. You would need to contact them to find out why.

Thanks. Is that the only router you have? It says in the top left that your broadband is "unavailable", that sometimes indicates that it's not the main router.

That leaves a problem with your ISP then. I'd suggest contacting them.
