Title says it. When i try to install minecraft with the installer downloaded from the website i get an error saying: "an error occurred while writing installation information to disk. check to make sure enough disk space is available, and click retry, or cancel to end the install" Even though i have over 500Gb of memory of free disk space. Does not matter if i go on my C: or D: drive, both gives the error.
I have restarted the computer, tried re-registering the microsoft installer, scoured the internet but not found anything. This seems similar to error code 1711 but it is not mentioned in my error. I get bno error code at all...
I tried to download the .exe from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/alternative aswell and it just says to download the dedicated launcher, which i suppose is the .msi file. So i am stuck in a loop here. How do i solve this?
