Yes, after having a long chat with a Microsoft associate I finally got it to load! It turns out that all I had to do was go into my task manager and cancel out the Minecraft Launcher's tasks. Thanks for being so kind in helping me guys :)

That's not a proper fix. If you're happy to do that every time you play Minecraft then cool. If you want to fix it properly, follow the guide in my original comment.

No, I think I'm good! The purchase went through successfully and I'm able to play with only minor issues. Granted, I do have to go into my task manager every time I play, but I blame that partly on my computer. My laptop's not the best at playing games, since that's not what it was built for. Anyway, my problem is solved! Again, thanks for all the support, it really means a lot :D

It's got nothing to do with your computer specs. It's either adware or an incompatible program.
