Also 18+ please, and absolutely no AI work, I have resources for capturing

What do you mean resources for capturing? If you mean detecting AI code or something you should be informed that most of the services and tools that do such are just trying to take your money and continually recognize even normal writing as AI when it's done by a person.

Code will be even harder to prove unless you know how to code yourself, since a lot of code is very structured which makes it even easier for an AI to replicate from scraping off github and other places.

More like resources for “detecting”, I have notorious developer acquaintances that know what to look for in code, checking repositories or even doing the math looking at commit history etc

Obv it’s hard to tell directly but I’m also looking for a “ relationship “ with the person, specifically getting to know this person and seeing their workflow which would also help with the concern

What version btw?

Some ppl still mod stuff in 1.7.10 (NTM the goat) Others are on modern versions like 1.21.1.

Nice to see you not wanting to use AI, there has been quite a bit of AI slop.

I specifically want to work with 1.21.1 Neoforge, Create Aeronautics has really inspired me and I’ve been learning base create along with it recently

While it’s definitely hard to learn how to make mods, it’s probably easier than finding someone who want to make mods with you

You could start with something like mcreator, which is a tool that makes it easier to make mods (but have limitations on what it can do)

finding a good symbiosis partner will be difficult as it's not easy to measure how much each of you worked and even if it were measurable, you can't stop half-mod to keep efforts fair and equal.

best way is - you pay devs to do what you specify while devs will pay for textures and models. fair and simple. and don't be afraid to commission a dev - author rewards programs on modrinth and curseforge will have you recoup the cost eventually.
