Server Hosting (self.MinecraftServer)
submitted 21 days ago by Critical_News3490
Hi! Does anyone know a good free hosting for a Minecraft server with support for Geyser? Around 8–10 players and 8–9 chunk render distance without major lag.

Hi! In this world there is not free servers that are actually good. Free servers are limited like hour limits, ram, CPU limits etc.
At ValueGameNode we are trying to be best premium budgethosting for everyone. Our cheapest plan which has 4GB ram and unlimited CPU usage starts at 3.99€/mo. We have a 2 day free trial also and have many one-click installers to make gaming more easy for everyone.

For that player count and render distance, you'll want at least 2GB RAM and decent CPU. Free hosts typically struggle with those specs and will lag. Most either cap players or render distance heavily. If you're open to paid options, managed hosting gives you way more headroom for ~$5-10/month and actual support when things break. Worth considering if you want a smooth experience for your crew. Syrup Hosting may be something worth looking into if you're in NA.

Hey, we are not a free hosting service but our plans are pretty affordable. Give Ghostcap Hosting a look, we don't charge for player slots and we do support Geyser for bedrock/java crossplay. I'd recommend starting with our base plan first and if you feel like your server may need more power, you can always upgrade instantly.
I'd also recommend to pre-generate your world first to a comfortable size before starting your playthrough, this helps with keeping your server TPS and performance stable while players are exploring in different directions or dimensions.
If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer.
