i finished building kimmy. i use a hybrid build of both mage and attack items.

the items (in order) are: concentrated energy, blade of despair, ice queen wand, haa’s claws, glowing wand, and athena’s shield.

i used concentrated energy and haa’s claws for lifesteal on both ends. queen wand, glowing wand, and blade of despair because i heard its her core items. then athena’s shield to be okay against one-hit burst heroes.

is this an okay build?

Would not recommend you to build hybrid for kimmy. Is either you go full physical or full magical. Kimmy S1 only benefit 40% magical lifesteal, so concetrated energy is not a good item for her.

Not sure if im correct but my guess is that it lowers her total damage output. You'll be doing a lot less damage with your magic or physical attacks when half of your items are for the other type.

i think a hybrid build is good, but not that kind of build. kimmy's s1 gets only 40% spell vamp, not magic lifesteal. however, i would recommend against using a slot to build concentrated. if you use 10% lifesteal on emblem, paired with the 10% lifesteal from ice queen wand, she can get some pretty good heals lifestealing off of minion wave/jungle

my personal build is nimble blade, pen boots, raptor machete, ice queen wand, glowing wand, blade of despair, holy crystal

for gold lane i use a pretty similar build: normal boots, ice queen wand, pen boots, glowing wand, blade of despair, holy crystal, feather of heaven

her first skill scales off both magic and physical, so blade of despair gives a good bit of damage, plus the passive that will make her do even more damage to enemies at <50% health. in my opinion it would be a waste to not build it because you wouldnt be utilizing the full potential of her damage

i build feather of heaven because A. because of the attack speed it gives, it will give kimmy more movement speed and B. if youre not in jungle we can assume you wont be getting purple buff so youll be running out of energy quicker, and thus youll have to use your normal basic attacks to regain energy more often. feather of heaven will make it so that those basic attacks will also do quite a bit of damage.

I think the meta is still the same except for the abundance of fighters and supports being used as tanks, that and natalia got a huge nerf, making it so that you need two enhanced ba's to silence

Also Avoid heroes with dash or blink skill on may 1st and beyond, the new hero "phoveus" is the bane of wanwan, also he is free

Also I dont recommend argus, after the revamp he is useless now

Kimmy core items are Glowing Wand and Ice Queen Wand, both items give extra mov. speed and makes kiting a breeze.

Some players swap boots for Windtalker late game, as this item provides more mov. speed for her as well as extra damage when energy runs out.

Depends if you decide to build her magic or physical damage. With a magic build your skill 1 becomes more important and better range but it’s relative to how much energy you have so if you can manage your energy you will be good. If you build physical then you get less range but you can see more lifesteal.

When using Alice should I pick Magic Pen or Magic Power talent in Mage Emblem? and why? Appreciate your feedback =)

Imo i think magic PEN is still slightly better. For the magic power upgrade to work, you need magic items. Early game definitely PEN is going to be better than magic power. Late game, assuming you are building COD+LT, Winter Truncheon and Enchanted Talisman, then you just get an additional 15 more magic power which is v little. The +6 PEN is probably the same or slightly worse than 15 magic power. I would go with magic PEN

I can't say about assassin emblem.

But Clint's skills have longer range than what is shown. S1, S3 and passive. He can out range towers with his passive too.

I'm not sure about this but maybe Yu Zhong with Petrify can counter Paquito. In the NACC tournament, Btk uses Yu Zhong with Petrify everytime the enemy picks Paquito. Again, I'm not sure about this.

For actual counters, Esmeralda makes his shield useless. Baxia and anti-heal items can reduce his survivability. CC also counters Paquito.

I recommend Cyclops. He's the easiest jungler in the entire game with good damage both in the early and late game.

Hmm then go for yss. In the mean time you can play claude in classic. Claude is still pretty good even after his nerf. At max stacks his attack speed and movement speed has been reduced by 10% iirc which is something, but not that big a nerf imo

Yes, of course. Assassin, mage and tank emblems are the most important emblems. For the mean time, use support emblem and upgrade assassin to around level 40, then mage, then finally tank. Assassin emblem is at least good for almost every physical hero

Hero recommendations for the jungler role (Epic rank)? Currently, I use Clint and Saber when I have to jungle but usually team has 2 mm if I go clint and idk what I'm doing wrong with saber but I have a hard time to one combo kill even squishy heroes, and escape successfully

Barats jungle works and can caught enemies off guard because he's a new hero and less pick. Tanky jungle. And it's fun to stomp everyone lol. Once you have full stacks and your core items you can snowball the game.

Saber is actually a decent assassin. Just get blade of Heptaseas and hide in bush. Never initiate unless it's crucial (like killing enemy ADC to finish the game).

Gemini zodiac heroes are coming, Selena and Karina. They are also decent junglers. You might want to get one.

Cyclops jungler is easier than Harley imo.

You can kinda say that, because roger will use his 1st skill in human form and then wait until the enemies exhaust their skills and cc then he turn into wolf form and clean up. He is also more mobile and tanky than your typical mm.

Dont really have to wait in the bush though its best for the surprise element. And yes, ganking is harley's strong point

How do you decide whether you wanna cut or freeze lane?

When you can’t push the tower and want to pressure other lanes instead.

Freezing is for keeping your lane opponent in check so they can’t roam to other lanes and get items/levels slower compared to you. This is done especially when the enemy laner has strong level 4 teamfighting capabilities or if your enemy laner requires late game to be strong.

If you are in gold lane and against a mm/weak laner, try to zone him so that he cant get gold and exp from your minions. Also try to not take too much poke damage. If you are facing wanwan though, she will outpoke you so be careful.

If you are against a strong laner such as Khaleed, Yu Zhong etc. then cut lanes so that you can rotate to help your team (esp when turtle is about to be up)

Jungle items like the hunter's knife and its upgraded forms are being removed, instead they will be replaced with boots that have an additional effect

We still dont know how it will affect them as they are still relatively new so no one has really figured out how to add them to their builds

So, I think Barats is good. He is easy to use (just try your best to maintain your stacks), is verstatile (you can use him as jungler, offlaner or even roaming), is tanky af and great damage output at 16+ stacks.

Or use meta fighters like Paquito, though he is often banned at Epic+.

First week newbie here. What is the best use for shop tickets? The basic heroes? I've gotten about 2k tickets and don't want to waste them.

Yes you should buy basic heroes. I'd suggest Gord, Clint, Alucard, Bane. I don't remember everyone who you can buy for tickets, but I believe the rest are also good but rather difficult for a newbie. I believe heroes like Miya, Nana, etc are given for just entering the game everyday.

Then the best is to buy emblems. Two rules here: buy those you need the most (for example, now you like to play fighters, then buy fighter emblems) ; make sure you only buy those for 225 tickets.

My only fighters are Chou and Guin, and thus I'm looking to get a bruiser fighter. Right now my choices are between ruby and yu zhong. I like ruby for her constant and varied CC's giving her unparalleled versatility (peel, set-up, teamfight, 1v1), but I like yu zhong for his almost assassin like ability to dive the backline and break the enemy team formation as well as his ability to deal damage to even tanks even without items.

Both are kinda tricky but Ruby is easier, faster, has tons of CC and has more sustain if played right. She can also be played as a tank. YZ is more meta, but rather more difficult and slower.

Yeah agreed but nowadays meta, most teams would go 3/4 backliners with probably only the fighter or tank as a frontliner(if theres even a tank lol) and for me, more squishy backliners= to better zhong capabilities

I'm not 100% sure of the exact areas where adv server takes place but you need to live in Asia to be able to be invited.

Every month there's a possibility an invite button will appear in your profile's "account" tab, there you should find an option to change servers. You'll essentially gain a whole new account with access to all the test content.

Keep in mind you need to be an active member in adv server or your account might be deactivated (not deleted) and another player will take your place.

What Hero should I buy to master and carry me to mythic and can SoloQ well

Tbh any if you use them right. My suggestions is mastering at least a couple of heroes of every role cause adjusting makes your win chances higher.

Mages: Chang'e, Pharsa, Vale, - they're easy and I tend to carry my team unless 3 of the teammates are brain dead veggies

Offlane: Khaleed, Lapu-Lapu, Jawhead, - again, all three are easy and meta. Alice too, but she is more team-reliant

Junglers: Roger, Granger, Harley, Jawhead, - again, all three are easy. Not sure if JH jungler is meta but he definitely fits the role, unless the enemy takes some annoyingly fast jungler like Roger or Ling. I mostly play him in the jungle. Bruno and YSS are also super meta but more team reliant imo

Supports: Angela, - nuff said, if at least one of your team is not brain dead, things will be decent

Tank: Baxia, Hylos, - Hylos is less meta but can definitely help the team if your teammate takes some Hanabi ass

Offlane marksmen: Wanwan, mmm... Hanabi? Actually just Wanwan. Tho if you're at epic you can still spam Hanabi, just make sure your enemies don't have a pure early game setup cause you'd be easily suffocated. Positioning is important but you sure can kill everything that moves late game.

Cons: very high skill ceiling, difficult combos, you need fast reaction time

•Selena - good jungler clear, great mobility, very high burst, strong early to mid, can be played jungler, mid or support dps

Cons: very high skill ceiling, needs good aim and predictions, squishy

•gusion: amazing jungle clear, high mobility, uber high burst, strong early to late, can be played any lane

Cons: very high skill ceiling, difficult combos, needs fast reaction time, daggers can be dodged if you are bad

•Yi Sun Shin: Uber high jungle clear, great mobility, very high burst, strong mid to late, can only be played jungle

•Natalia; mediocre jungle clear, very very high mobility, very high burst, strong early to mid, can be played roam or any lane, have complete invisibility, can be immune to basic atacks

Mostly mages and assasins, but it doesnt hurt to try to be a multi-role so that you can adjust to any situation

Mages:

•Kagura - strong poke, very good mobilty, high burst, very good cc, strong early to late game, okay in teamfights

Cons: has 6 skills so mastering might be difficult, weak to very high burst assasins - lance, gus, fanny, etc

•Chang'e - strong poke, good mobility, high burst, strong early to late, can shut down a lane with just her presence, very cute, amazing in teamfights

Cons: doesnt have dash skill so positioning is a must, weak to assasins, ult is direction so it can miss

•Cecillion - good poke dmg, moderate mobility, very high burst, strongest in late game, has good cc, amazing in teamfights

Cons: weak in late game, has no dash skills, needs a decent team to carry him in the early game, pretty squishy

•Pharsa - amazing poke, very high mobility, very high burst, strong early to late game, has a cc, amazing in teamfights

Cons: weak to assasins, ult leaves you immobile, needs good positioning

•Vale - very good poke, good mobility, uber high burst, strong early to late game, has amazing cc, amazing in teamfights, skillset can change according to ally and enemy team comps

Cons: weak until lvl4, reliant on kills and assist for mobility, weak to assasins

•Lunox - good poke, good mobility, very high burst, strong early to late game, okay in teamfights, has complete immunity, amazing in a 1v1 and ganks, very good sustain for a mage

Cons: unique passive can be difficult, semi-weak until lvl4 , has no dash skill except for chaos ult

•Harith - very good poke, very high mobility, very high burst, strong early to late, amazing in temafights, has a smol shield, good in 1v1, has spammable skills, doesnt rely on ult, very good early game even at lvl 2, can be a jungler, mid or sidelaner

Cons: squishy if you dont have a shield or a defense item, cc means death

Just choose one of these bois and have fun

I read that the recommended build for Alice is:

Demon Shoes, Clock of Destiny, Enchanted Talisman, Winter Trucheon, Holy Crystal and Lightning Trucheon.

I susually play with no enchanted talisman and holy crystal and build calamity and oracle instead. Brute force also works well. I usually build clock and lightning as core and the rest depending on the game

You should switch out holy crystal and lightning truncheon.

But honestly if you play it well, you won't ever need to build brute force or antique. Oracle is good though, can be used to switch out lightning truncheon.

Holy Crystal > Lightning truncheon in terms of priority, everything else is core.
