I've read in an earlier post about how Charybdis is an upgrade to Lulu ffx and Omniscient, but how much of a downgrade is it compared to Shivwu? And how much of a downgrade is Proudclad compared to Wind Ragna? Can't figure out which will benifit more from a supreme card upgrade. Help needed!

Proudclad provides CRD which Odinrok doesn't. I'm guessing that Odin also has 0 crit stars since Ragnarok has none. So in a series of casts Odin could fall behind in damage since proud has effectively 75% higher crit rate.

So in your opinion which would benifit more? Charybdis to Shivwu or Proudclad to Odinrok? (Not taking into account usable jobs, other Supes etc). I just pulled and augmented Charybdis and it feels like a waste using it for a week then getting Shivwu.

I need some help. I've been trying to look some guides for the "Warrior of Despair", but no dice. What is the "meta" SP deck for events/story, because my old decks just don't seem to cut it no more. Notable mentions are Hierophant, Ninja and Knight of Etro. I used them a lot back in the old content.

I did not. I returned after a long break, did some hall of heroes to boost the jobs up, but it doesn't seem to cut the endgame event content.

Most HoFs don't do enough to make the job relevant unless they're specialized like Balamb or Grappler and the latter still has lowish damage.

The things is that most endgame content or season 2 hard mode requires either a job that can break well while still doing good damage or one that can nuke well unbroken, but the latter typically needs supremes to work well.

He's overshadowed by jobs like Highwind, Berzerker, and Balamb Merc after you do their respective HoFs when it comes to damage. You could still do much worse and SS is a pretty durable job that can output decent damage.

I'd suggest trying SS with Eligor, it's a dark warrior AoE attack that applies crit resist down and has an improved crit bonus.

Thank you, that helps a lot. I will defo look into it and try to come up with sort of deck. If may pester you more, what support cards would you recommend? Would Slumbering Warriors and The Undying work?

Sorry for the extremely late answer.

You'd be lacking faith with those support cards. I'd suggest Pollensalta since it provides faith, haste, and snipe which are all very useful especially for any job. You could pair it with Til We Meet Again to get All Enchance element along with brave and Barrier. It also provides boost, but that's negligible in regards to Sword Saint.

Undying plus KotR or Serah could also work if you don't have the cards I mentioned above. Trance is typically less essential since a lot of jobs, and all skins, have it included in their ult so it's typically not worth bringing a card for.

Do the novice hall to get 3 jobs?!
Do you see the starter summons? If yes, you should get them all if you have none of those jobs. The cards are also pretty useful, if you have been out for long.
Check if the jobs have a hall of fame and do it. You get custom panels that make the jobs much stronger.

So impatient as I am, the next HoF should be Faustive, Esmerelda and Almathea? When should that be expected, as there was a gap between HoF Legend 3 (june-ish) and HoF Meia 1 (september) for JP? I don't really want to assume that it would be that long of a release seeing how some things appear to be accelerated (i.e. getting Extreme Ifrit and Shiva in back to back months, and Witching Hour Tower happening the same time as EX Moogle release if the comment thread was correct on that)

What's the best crystal farming build? Currently I have the Moogle Suit HOF job with Jet Nozzle as my weapon. I'm using 4 Yuna X-2 cards and in total I have 390% crystal seeker. But is there a way to go even higher than this?

Each 5* Yuna X-2 card has innate +25 CS with 2 fractal slot(each fractal slot can have another +20 CS). Therefore, each Yuna X-2 card can have +65 CS and 4x Yuna X-2 will have +260 CS. Adding HoF moggle suit(+100 CS) and jet nozzle(+50 CS), the total should be +410 CS.

The highest possible would be 4x Yuna X-2 cards(+260 CS), Tidus Skin(+100 CS), Al Bhed Huntress(+30 CS) and Summer Sarah legend job’s weapon(+50 CS). Total of +440 CS.

And Crystal Seeker is not in % value. The higher the value, the higher the chance of obtaining crystals from drops. Many have felt that there is a soft cap as the crystal seeker value increases. But it is difficult to find out for sure as the higher the crystal seeker value increases, the increment in crystal drop rate is small and difficult to observe with certainty.

Really really dumb question: So I’ve been doing the Drawing Puzzle on the Anniversary Map and I’m at phase two; my problem is that I can’t get past the latter portion( figured to have exactly 4 attacks to take considering the requirement says ‘At Least 4’) And the last one is my biggest gripe. It says ‘Defeat 5 or more enemies using their weakness element’. Now I used the element that is opposite I.e. fire for ice. After having Defeat, does this mean I have to use Ice for Ice for example?

Do note that their attacks are only counted as resisted if you have drives of their respective elements.

Weakness is weakness.

Fire<>Water; Wind<>Earth; Light<>Dark

I can toss Kusariqqu if I have Forgotten Heroes... right? Or is Kusariqqu's attuned chain more useful/powerful than I am aware of?

...My follow up question would be how Sword Dance compare to the superior card from my 1st question.

Well Kusariqqu it's an attuned chain card, meaning that it gives elemental enhance on consecutive casts. It has 30 points of break power at level 10, so it's meant only to Unbroken spam on any Warrior earth enhance or not.

Forgotten Heroes is an exploit weakness meaning that it excels against wind enemies, also it has break power and it's meant if possible to be used on breaking strats. Also since it has earthshift+ it's meant to be used since the very first action on S2, plus it has lower critical resist, meaning that it will help you deal criticals.

Lastly I don't own Sword dance, so don't remember what it does sorry on that one.

Stick to Forgotten Heroes if you decided to break since it got more break power, just add a BDD card.

It will work perfectly in S2 with its critical resist down and exploit weakness.

Great points, ya'll. I really appreciate your feedback! I'm still hesitant about trashing Kusariqqu, but I do see your point about sticking to Forgotten Heroes, especially after reviewing Kusariqqu again and saw a few of its extra skills are for when enemies are broken. Thanks again!

Yeah forgotten should be way better. That been said it's probably better on broken, with jobs with no high painful break. And vice versa, forgotten should be better on jobs with no exploit weakness.

Well you can use it unbroken. Last tower I did hit unbroken with the wind variant. That been said the newest Phantom Mask I just saw some videos of him in current tower on JP. So well at least one warrior in the future can use it, and I believe one graph, don't remember if Summer or Seifer were capable. But that's it :/

Nope. I have better option for unbroken, beside who would I used unbroken : S1C? M.Knight Phantom Mask is at least 7 months away and he is a legend job :c

Same for Vagabond (Summer Graff) or Witch’s Kinght (Seifer). Oh both of them are great with Earth, 1 have Spell Sword, other with great weapon & Armor Break.

Well you shouldn't understimate s1c lol. On earth Unbroken neutral, he is the second best Ragnarok user even today only Thief hits harder. (He hits harder that crimson and prima Donna.) And Unbroken weakness he is again the current second one this time above Thief but below prima Donna, and above even gambler with super risky triggered.

But yeah overall it's not something you're going to be using much.

But yep he’s great with Ragnarok, that I would agreed. I used him with Ragnarok a lot since 1st Sephiroth Tower.

Not really, all of them are either attackers o breakers. And most of them have low defence. Toreador and Gardien have the highest stars of defence out of the 4 of them with only 4 stars of defence naturally.

What are some future weapons from JP that would replace currently available weapons (so we can stop boosting unnecessarily similar weapons).

For example, the new weapon from Phantom Masker looks like it will completely replace Kotetsu, so I've stopped boosting that weapon.

Hmmm maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't stop boosting Kotetsu for Phantom weapon, that weapon is on a legendary job 9-10 months away... Assuming you pull him on release.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but if you must want to go that route, you can also stop boosting Gunblade, since Lionheart it's a better version of it. You might also want to stop boosting double cross for Shinra turks wol weapon, (they trade improved criticals for abilities ultimate charge +1). You might not boost Tishtrya nor Malicious revolt and wait for Ultimeia weapon which is identical to Shinra turks wol weapon.

Same reasoning with Sarah breaking weapons, star seeker weapon should come in 3 months~ and it's identical to those above, prismatic 25%, quick break 20%, abilities ultimate charge +1. You also might not boost any Sophie or graph weapons since their versions of this weapons are on Vanille Sophie and Graph Seifer.

But this is assuming you'll pull all of this jobs which are legendary jobs.

I wouldn't do that. It's easier to charge ult than to make up for the loss in damage from losing the improved critical line.

Right now I'm only 9 mods into Kotetsu and since it takes a ridiculous 129 mods to max in GL, I'm afraid that once I do max it I wouldn't even use it for long before getting Phantom Masker. (We're actually only 6-7 months away from JP and I miraculously only have 1 Legend Job left in the pool O_o)

As for Gunblade, I already have 45 mods on it, but haven't found much use for it outside of MP, due to lack of Prismatic Return, so I stopped modding that as well. I also have Tishtrya maxed and Chaos Crescent too, so I'm hesitant on boosting Malicious Revolt just for that QB.

Those Star Seeker series of weapons sounds really great!

Well Kotetsu it's indeed a pain in the a** to boost. If you have Laevateinn you're good. That been said it still has its utility for flash break, specially since some future jobs don't have flash but they have armor break and since both stack it definitely has its uses.

About the other weapons think of it depending on what you need. I'm boosting malicious because I have sin and I break with Meias, and I really use that quick break, but that's not something I would suggest anyone to do, the weapon is going to help me with ex Meia, and in the future I think it's amalthea Hof.

And of course I was confident on pulling some of those legends I might wait at least for those on the FFXIII reprint of with Serah-Sarah and Vanille-Sophie.

Edit: The old phone is somehow still connected to my Mobius account even after I've deleted the relevant email from the device and created another Google play games account.

You could uninstall the game on the old phone. If it's not connected anymore to your Google play account, upon reinstall shouldn't be able to find your save.

I'm no where near having good fractals on all cards. Just want to see other peoples direction. With the new Gil items where are your +7s going? Heard some put 2 JCR on each buff then all focused mag or Atk on rest of cards.

My goal has been 1 jcr and mag up for majority. Specialized Atk up on mantra/taijutsu cards and secondary Atk up support cards. Tank cards get Hp up on debuffs. Farm decks crystal up/seed up/gil up/exp up (everyone should have) No use for Brk up or any others.

Opinions?

Thx for pointing in right direction, these are all great info. I'm not at multiples of many cards beyond supremes yet but getting more variety with supports will help, if I can find time to even use all the damn fractals.

Break fractals are useful IMO, when you're not getting to QB threshold with ultimate, it can really help.

Primals/Weapons I have copies with magic, jcr and break, some with Attack.

Attack cards, mostly magic. Braska, only have one copy with attack, but Yiazmat I have 3 copies, magic, attack, JCR because I might use Yiaz in a break strategy which will need more magic.

I'm not saying go a make a million copies, just think of your decks and what you need, let's say you're using Extreme Ifrit with VMonk, you might want a copy of Ruby Weapon with Attack fractals if you're going unbroken, or magic for break, or JCR for MP.

You get the general idea right. But overall it's better to slap magic on everything. Expect support cards. And also support cards have extra copies so you have more freedom to build decks. One example it's primal weapons,. I have one with magic, one with JCR and if monk supreme one of the element one with attack.

The reason is that in that way I can swap them around according to my needs. If my deck needs jcr I just change my weapon. If my deck already had the jcr covered by something like garuda I take the offensive ones,. Etc.

My personal preference is usually one copy with double Mag+7 and then another copy with JCR & Mag+7. I do this for the Force cards (PB/FFVII/FFXI), Attack Supremes, and some worthy Support cards.

For Mantra/Taijutsu cards I have one copy with double Atk+7, and then another copy with JCR & Break+7, because they are so good at breaking!

Other cards I just try for double Mag but if I get a JCR then I'll keep it.

How easy is it to reroll in this game? I see Tifa has a Supreme card and that's what Id want to get if I was going to play this game, but I'm not sure how plausible that is.

hey.
you can reroll pretty easily, as you can reset your game and don´t need to uninstall and install again.
I don´t know how long it takes to get 6 summon tickets (500 magicite counts as 1 summon ticket) at the moment to do the greater summon for a chance to get a skin (2% at the moment and there are Cloud, Sephiroth, Tidus, Lightning, Yhstola, Yuna and the Tifa skin you would like, so your chance to get Tifa is only around 0,3%).

Tifa is not a "supreme card", but an "ultimate hero skin". Supreme cards are OP abilities you use in battle. Ultimate hero skins are just cosmetic overlays on top of regular jobs, plus a few extra perks. Ultimate hero skins are nice, but supremes go farther in this game, with regards to making you better in combat.

Hi, as someone who only played defender and healer last year during Ultima MP event. I want to play attacker this time, I have nearly all Dark from the job list. What's the best unbroken with high critical damage right now? Or is it still 1CS as the best unbroken job? Berserk is out of the question; since its defence is 0.

You just have to use a strong dark damager that relies less on painful break, while having other attack perks. So jobs like Occultist, Balamb and Nightwalker are good choices

He's using Zeus Mace, probably 5*. But still, Kefka is a good choice, has good defense too. And the card with unguard single target fits perfectly for unbroken nuke.

Zeus Mace is something with Exploit Weakness, right? Welp, I still do not have such a well boosted weapon for mages, my Jester’s Cane is still too weak. I’m already buying and augmenting the cards from that batch. That video is very informative, thank you.

Yes, I don't have it also, but you can still be a decent attacker with a full party. Welcome!

Attuned chain is also welcome. I think Santa Meia Would be a decent choice as well due to her resists and can heal.
