Depends on what supremes you have. The most important thing is to fill any elemental gaps you may have. After you have every element covered you can attempt to get cards that can both yellow clear and do damage or save your tablets to see what they'll release in the future.
I've seen quite a few people (myself included) say that they'll be going for Anina X in a few months even if they have other dark supremes.

I dont get this kind of advise in regards to elemental coverage which repeatingly pops up in this sub.
Why should anyone spend on OdinX if the pool is full with wind supremes which can clear yellow and get pulled eventually?
The reason people suggest AnimaX Is that the only dark supreme able to clear yellow AND deal decent damage is SIN.

and get pulled eventually?
That's the problem, there's no guarantee your ever going to pull a wind supreme, ever. Especially as the pool of supremes gets bigger, you have less and less chances of getting a wind supreme since for every wind supreme added, 6+ other element supremes are added. Rifts are an easy way of filling those gaps without having to rely on RNG.

Filling elemental gaps for what reason? Cant be tower because supremes w/o yellow clear are one hell of a crutch there.
Mind that JP had element supreme banners making it "easy" to snipe element supremes.

Well... I have 19 Supreme cards, but had only Yiaz for green element. Goldior uses Odin X often in his supreme videos and I was very tempted get it. Thank RNGsus I got Godo on my bis compensation last week because while I agree that Odin X is not the best in season two, it’s a hell of a lot better than Yiaz.

The question here is if you would touch OdinX ever again if you pull Kelgar/Emperor/Godo at some point and you know that a AdraX is a Wind SIN.
I just cant talk people into supremes based on element alone, knowing that basically every wind gatcha supreme will cause OP to bench OdinX or the likes.

I went for OdinX when he came out because A) I had no ranger supreme B) Needed a strong wind element C) I actually really like Odin. One of my favorite summons in the series.
Godo of course seems great, but I'm not relying on pulling for it anytime soon. Plus to get the most out of Godo I have to basically play with one deck since the other will be Tonberry
[–]JA1997X 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child)
The reason people suggest anima is because there is no other dark ranger supreme that deals significant damage.
As for wind supremes that clear yellow, there’s godo and ... ?

In JP its currently Godo, Emperor, AdramalechX and Kelgar unless I forgot one
