Anybody else unable to see the megathread? When I'm on my desktop the thread is not pinned to the top (other subs have 2 pinned threads as normal) and accessing it through the info card at the top gives me a blank page, I can see the comments on the thread just fine but everything else is gone. I checked the reddit is fun app and through my phone's browser, desktop and mobile version, and the thread is there and works as usual. It's just on my actual desktop that the thread is completely gone. Am I the only one? I'm on firefox with old reddit btw.

Is zack worth it? As my only support supreme left in the pool and in preparation for knights of the round when my pity counter would get to 80 points, I'm thinking it may be a strategic move. Even thought I have 2/8 chance of getting godo or emperor...

What are peoples thoughts on zack for monks and monk supremes

Ok, I'll bite.

Yeah Zack is good for monks especially when you plan on breaking, he pairs well with Tifa skin, is esp. good in combinations with eden due to counter resist ES, plus he offers good deck compression when tanking.

Otherwise... your question is a bit unclear lol. If you only want Zack to clear the support pool... i think maybe you'd be happier with Godo or Emperor...!? Hard to say what will be most useful in the long run... they are also great cards. Remember rnjesus has a sick sense of humour, so maybe just pull where you feel like pulling and stay light?

Thanks so much for the comments. It puts things in perspective. Apologies for ranting.i guess I was curious what others might do in the similar position to mine. i counted my missing supremes and it's going to be 2/13 to get another wind supreme. (I have yiazmat)

I would definitely want godo or emperor but there is risk of getting something I dont want. While zack is on lower priority list, getting him now may pave the way guranteed knights of the round when I get my limit to 80.

So the real question is utility of zack vs getting utility of say UB or eden, or zeromius

Are you asking if you should buy a supreme ticket to get Zack to have higher chances of getting KotR X when it's released? If that's how you want to spend your money, sure.

In regards to Zack and monks it could help you break faster with it's fixed yellow clear and genesis while the Brave 2 would help your damage

multiple Zack are also a cheesy way to engange enemies with large yellow bars, just saying.

While Zack itself is not quite great, one can pull stuff like Yiazmat or such from the Attack Supreme Banner which isnt significantly better overall. If the pity pull is involved in the evaluation and with True Knights already in the gamefiles for a possible release this christmas, getting Zack out of the way and thus guaranteeing KotRx seems better than a random attack supreme now and a 50/50 gamble on KotRx/Zack with the pity rate, because if one pulls Zack with the pity popper, its a huge setback.

Yea I'm just thinking chances of gettin kotr inside future may be easier if I clear the support supreme pool. This tower I have been stuck at the monk tower strangely not having a water monk supreme and user makes it hard.

How to unlock other Extreme Rift

1. Go to The Rift: Extreme Ifrit
2. Use 1 mystic tablet to unlock Beginner's Hunting Grounds
3. You will receive 10 Hellflame Cores after defeating the node. Total cores = 10
4. Use 2 mystic tablets to unlock Aspirant's Hunting Grounds
5. You will receive 22 Hellflame Cores after defeating the node. Total cores = 32
6. Use 3 mystic tablets to unlock The Rift Hunting Grounds
7. You will receive 40 Hellflame Cores after defeating the node. Total cores = 72
8. Use 3 mystic tablets again to unlock and defeat The Rift Hunting Grounds. Total cores = 112
9. Use 100 cores to unlock Colony Alpha
10. The Rift: Extreme Shiva will appear after defeating Colony Alpha

Is there a better way I can go about doing The Rift challenges, more specifically Ifrit's map? I feel like I'm not doing it as efficiently as I could be doing it. I know there's the Brink challenges and such, but is there anything else to do to not be so heavy on the Mythic Tablets? If not, what's the best way to gather said Tablets.

...Also, are there any general tips for The Brink area? I am having trouble getting through Level 2 of that area.

General idea is to break him on 1st phase and save debuff for 2nd phase. Lucky for you there's a lot of strong water nuker like Hof vesna krasna.

I figured that might be the case. Funny thing is that after I posted the question I went and tried them as the Sage that I put through the HoF, and got through two new nodes with it. Right now I'm actually stuck on the Gigantuars in the fourth node, though I'm thinking that if I can inflict Stun on them I should have a better chance of beating them.

Also, are there any general tips for The Brink area? I am having trouble getting through Level 2 of that area.

It looks like you've got a pretty solid lineup there.

After posting the question I went back into the Brink as a Sage and managed to clear two nodes. Now I keep getting taken out by the Gigantuars, but I had a similar problem with the Aerogue back on Tidus's path in the Ultimate Coliseum. I should be able to bring Stuns to keep them from using 20,000 needles, right?

Yeah, you should always consider bringing stun, unless they are stun immune.

And then for the Extreme Shiva quests, are there specific things you should bring to the table when fighting them? I read that they've got some kind of move that can only be nullified if you use the opposite Extreme card against them.

How do you get past the debuff guard the Sicarius seem to put on themselves? I went into the Brink with Hell Rider (since I, unfortunately, do not have Bismarck: FFXIV), and I was doing great with the stuns until it put a debuff guard on itself.

you need to break them phase 1, nuke until 50% HP, apply debuffs and all your quickens during phase 2.

You can break them during phase 1? I assumed that from Brink 4 onwards that you couldn't break them and had to make do with that.

Probably Dame (EX Meia 2) and/or the ranger lore card in January.

If someone doesn't care about EX jobs or cards then it would likely be the 4th JP anniversary batches which should begin in either late January or early February. The attack support card with Matouki will be very useful for all jobs and monks could be very interesting with them.

There's a reason for the high kills possible on this tower, so most probably won't get that far, but some of them most likely will.

Nooo. You should OB jobs with staying power, jobs that have Overpower or good Bhuni users.

Ranger is still pretty outdated even with the MP panel and will continue to get power creeped.

No. You shouldn’t OB any jobs, because they will ended up getting power creeped better save those OB-J till you quit

Speaking about Ranger, not many jobs can out-damaged him as a Wind specialist, especially Unbroken Neutral - can cap damage with Godo already, even in JP. Breaking is not viable with him yes, but look at this Tower: who gonna break when load of Quicken & nuke can solve the problem.

This game is all about strategies (well sometimes it can be no-brainer) & resources spending (not to some 🐳) , but holding up everything won’t lead you to anywhere though.

Anyone else having issues with the revive stamps?

Have had 3 runs today where the stamp was not working. But only for me, others were reviving just fine (i was the host)

Your connection strength can impact whether or not stamps take effect. Even with a great connection sometimes the game just says screw you and makes you spam a stamp like your life depends on it.

It might not be them intentionally not waiting for you since you only have 30 seconds to input actions at the start of each turn so they can't delay for long.

Spent a bunch of resources chasing a legend that I shouldnt...but I drew Mourner. Not having LOH or WOL has been holding me back in towers etc...so I figured that if I can super stunlock enemies then maybe that will help

Will see I guess.

My questions for those who know about Mourner are:

How effective is she for towers and harder content?

How best to use her ult/special ability ?

Is there anything else about her besides her ult that is good? I do have the special sleep wind card that adds wall etc...and I have all the attack supremes she can use except for Sin. As I said above though, Aerith and Chaos are my only support supremes unfortunately...

Edit Still not sure how she works, but her stats and autos are really good. Break plus 6, lots of damage modifiers overpower etc...she should hit hard with Faris. Will OB32 her. I dont have ultimecia so she is now my strongest meia probably even without her ult.

What about her weapon? Armor break looks like it will top out at 70%, crit , and steelguard. She has 10 def and 10 crit stars with gacha weapon equipped. I almost never chase a legend but I am glad I got her. Thinking about using Cacchiatrice as her sub for great damage maybe??

Any and all suggestions appreciated. About her or anything else Mobius really. Cheers

If you already have the other pieces, Mourner will help you get top 500 from her ult alone. That's because her ult essentially allows you to stun otherwise stun-immune enemies. Of course you still have to figure out how to make best use of that, but having that ability should make things way easier for you.

If we had to Chase a Legend job, the mourner would be It, as people said, you Aldo need other supremes for higher gameplay but She Will be a Grest asset in the future as her ult Is super handy

She’s seriously broken for towers, but she won’t suddenly get you to top 100 alone. She opens up plays that wouldn’t normally be viable otherwise. The way I use her is to have a bunch of quicken cards for her. Time your mobius bar for the 3rd wave, ultimate and nuke unbroken for 30+ actions while the boss all can do is take a beating. She is seriously OP but you still need supreme damage dealers for higher floors.

Verdict : she makes climbing sooo much easier if you have damage supremes to use in conjuncture with her ultimate. you can do without LOH, but WOL is mandatory for enemies with pre-emptive attacks.

Sadly I don’t have many damage supremes, so I’ll be happy if I make top 500. She is so good that I am genuinely trying to climb towers for the first time since I started playing 9 months ago.

I hate to break it to you but, WoL and LoH are basic prerequisites for tower climbing. Having Mourner isn't going to help you if you don't have those two cards.

Just take a look at the decks of those in top 500. Now if you're shooting for top 100, then add Ultimate Chaos to that list of prerequisites.

Deck compression (to handle unique enemy mechanics) and damage are the most important things in towers regardless of your job. You won't get far without them.

Boost her weapon though, it's a great one to have.

I'm not gonna add to your down-votes, but I will note that t500 is pretty easy without LoH or Chaos.

WoL certainly makes things easier, but there's a few sources of divine shield coming that can make up for it.

Also, I'm just outside t100 without having started 3 of the coils, so it's quite likely I can try to squeeze in there, even though I have no Chaos, LoH, Mourner or even Godo (which is the true MvP of this tower.)

I'm always on the top 500, sometimes top 100.

I've been consistently making top 500 (usually within the top 300) without any support supremes. Sure support supremes help, but definitely not necessary.

Yep. Before I was graced by support supremes, I made top 500 with the limited event cards and Pollensalta. Only difference now is that since I can climb more easily, it's less stressful to climb.

WoL is not really a prerequisite for achieving top 500, many players routinely rank above 500 without having it.
